what HTC does better than Z2/3 or S5?
they have better camera, better screen, better battery, waterproof, thinner. and this pretty much covers all the things that matters in a phone.
could you count yours?

Than... moredon't even think about getting iphone 5s. for starters the iphone 6 is out. then it's ios. I suggest if you really like HTC go for One M8, but there are more options for you, for example LG G3,or SONY Xperia Z2 or if you can wait to get Z3,which is amazing. and there is always Samsung galaxy S5.
you can compare these and choose which one you like, they're all good but so far SONY Z3 is on top with it's best Camera, good look, thin, waterproof and many more.
still if you like HTC M8 it's nothing but a great good looking phone.

If you like the ios go for it...if you like the sound of the htc... Go for it... Its up to you mate... I would go with the htc ..

You should try them and go for the one with good surface hardness. However, oleophobic coating is the most important as it helps to avoid fingerprints.

I'm using HTC One E8. Is M8 screen guard compatible with One E8 as both of them have same dimensions except 0.1mm difference in width?

the value of the device dived after the announcement of the iphone 6. after the iphone 6 came out it skyrocketed over 700$

Note 4 beats them all. lol..... you just compared the m8 & z2/z3 to a phone that ain't out yet.... well done.
of course, the flagship phone of the big 'S' that hasn't been released yet is going to be better than the flagship phone of 6 months ago..... someone give this guy a medal!
on the other hand, the flagship phone that HTC brings out in 10 years time will absolutely stuff the Note 4!
