Hi Everyone, I'm Xperia Z user, Now I'm willing to buy a new one, My main concern is about Headphone sound quality and camera, Please someone let me know about M8's sound quality and loudness in headphones, Is it better to go for Apple ipod touch 5TH Generation or better to go for M8 for HEADPHONE sounds?,And between Sony Xperia Z2 and HTC M8 which one has more superior Headphone sounds with stock handsfree, I'm anticipating a very honest answer, Thank you very much
Some more flows I am experiencing are_
No Facebook calendar sync.
Galary application is a mess.just see album in Sony flagships to differentiate.
Music player has nothing to customize.and default player is way no match with walkman.
Volume level varies in different tracks. Walkman has a option to check that.I downloaded power amp and that to some extent giving better result.
Application can't be uninstalled from app drawer.
Also main issue is call quality consistancy as I mentioned earlier but That may be with Vodafone India specific issue.
Not feeling happy shifting from XZL .
Yes it's still the beautiest set out there.

Currently I am using LG G2 for couple of months & I am total satisfied with it but now I like the design of HTC One M8, So is it going to be a wise decision to swap the model G2 to One M8??? Cheers
HTC had a multi-award winning phone on their hands with the original HTC One last year. So the though on my mind (and I'm sure many others, was just how would they manage to improve on it in 2014's successor??!?). With the HTC One M8, HTC sure has done not only that, but they have really set the bar even higher than ever!
I loved the metal finish on my HTC One M7 and when I unboxed the HTC One M8, I was astounded at the wraparound metal back (90% metal!! Wow!) and the curve and finish (on the Gunmetal Grey) was something that just felt so good and "right" in my hand when I held it, so much so that I didn't want to put it down! The finish and texture on the Gunmetal grey is superb! Obviously lots of thought and effort in getting the tactile feel down, just right!
Overall, I think this device is a winner, superb build and quality, screen is top notch, no lag when using it, Sense 6 is really upping the game with the tweaks and improvements, and though I'd personally wished for a slightly larger battery in the M8 (2800-3000mAh would've been superb) the improvements in terms of power usage and battery management, means that it last quite a bit better than its predecessor in my own heavy usage.
As a photographer, the camera on my device is important for making photos when I don't have my other cameras on me. The Ultrapixel camera on the HTC One M8 with the Duocamera setup goes some way to improve on the critiques of its predecessor.
The Ultrapixel camera definitely make a difference in lowlight and indoor scenes, while the increased data in the files from the depth sensor is telling in not only better photo files and coupled with the interesting features in the stock photo editor like uFocus, Foregrounder and so on, lets the average user get creative with their photos for sharing on social networks. In that respect, the camera is more than sufficient for social sharing, the details in files is sufficient and slight cropping is still acceptable, though given that the camera is still only 4 megapixels, heavy cropping isn't recommended, of course.
Lovely device, I wish everyone out there would get one, and realise what they've been missing when they experience the HTC One M8 firsthand for themselves!
AnonD-253518, 03 Jul 2014My phones camera (4mp) is also getting scratches, its just 45 days old,dun noe wot to doget it replaced. It is a hardware issue as HTC forgot to put oleophobic coating on the main lens. The depth sensor has protective coating though.

this phone is too good! unbelievably slick interface the camera might be pretty average but then again no phones really stack up to a proper camera. the thing that is unreal about this phone is the audio output, i'm a music junky and have gone through countless ipods, iphones, archos mp3 players with external amps and android phones but nothing has had as much clarity and punch as the headphone out of the M8.I literally have to resist the urge to dance on the tube during my comute!
on top of that you get a pretty nice screen oodles of power under the hood and the only phone to look as sexy as an iphone since the original one!
the m8 is best device ever but only need a 16mp camera
I have HTC Once and I bought New HTC One (M8. what is the major difference in both the products?
