Water resi... moreA 1080 * 1920 display at 6 inches can't have 471 ppi. That's going to have 368 PPI.
The highest IP water rating is IPX8(X can be any number) and that tops at 1.5 meter for 30 min. So i think what you're demanding is not going to be fulfilled.
Plus you're dreaming. A 100dB speaker can't be on a smartphone. Do you know, even portable speakers of the size of phone can't output 100dB. You need a home theater for that. My laptop has big JBL stereo speakers and they too max out at 90dB. So 100 dB from a phone is a dream. Do you know decibel system is logarithmic and a 100dB sound is 1000 times more intensity than 70 dB which is max sound of good speakers in mobiles.
Although the 5000 mAh can be solved. Just purchase a phone with removable battery and search for zerolemon batteries. I think there are even close to 10000(10 thousand) mAh batteries available for s4 and s5.
Keep dreaming, but your dreams aren't practical. Just go for the phone you like.

I got this phone for atleast 2 months now and it is indeed a nice phone in every aspect,but i found some gliche on Music app. If i put more than 20 songs, there is a notification that says "Music enhancement is stop working". and it pops up everytime i scroll. so annoying. now i hid the HTC music app and used the Google play music app. But i really love the UI of HTC music player so i hope it will be fixed soon.

Had this phone 3 4 weeks. Had the 2 year old HTC one x. Due an upgrade and was thinking of hanging on for whatever Apple came up with. Was always so needing last year's HTC. Temptation got the better of me and I went in the shop and they showed me the s5 and got the z2 , slab, from the back of the ship, pre release. The second I held this phone that was it. And I have the dot view case more in love.

I use both of my phones and love both of them. G2 for games and general stuff due to its processor and much better battery life and s4 for music and camera.
These are personal choices Anyways and I'm not imposing anything on you or I imposed anything on saurav. He probably went for m7 IMO.
And I don't believe I wrote bad about z2. I just mentioned about one or more thing which some people were misspreading. Like someone said that z2 has better display than amoled as it has wider gamut and amoled are oversaturated. In reality wider gamut is same as oversaturated display. So I wrote that. I don't think there was any of my comment in which I said that z2 is crap or s5/m8 is better phone. I never use the term better phone.
Yeah, let's keep the friendly talk continued. At the end I just want to clear that I'm not a Samsung fan. I just own a Samsung phone as my daily driver but that doesn't mean my next phone will be Samsung or I'll just go for Samsung. You don't know but I researched for one month between m7 and s4 and then just bought s4 as the exynos version was available in India. I am fan of particular phones and not brands. I'll research for a month and choose a phone. And I don't care about brand at all. If m7 had a 13 mp camera, it would have been my current phone and people would call me htc fan.

Once I told you about the LG UI on the HTC M7 page, you told LG UI is horrible. At the beginning you tried so hard to prove here how Galaxy S5 is better than the HTC M8. You have mentioned some negative comments regarding the Xperia Z2 on the Z2 page. I know you are a huge Samsung fan and how hard you are trying to show that Samsung is the best. I don’t care what anyone buys or like, it’s none of my business.
I didn’t confirm that I definitely buy the G3, I’m merely reviewing it. I highly concern about the G3 and iPhone 6, at the same time I really love my HTC M8. I have the freedom to say that I don’t like a particular brand, but I never bashed them. Similarly, I have the freedom to buy what I prefer. I’m not a fan boy, that’s why I care about every brand. It’s useless to argue about phones like kids. I’m concerned every phone is great even Huawei. Which phone is best depends on his/her preferences. Arguing about phone will exhibit to everyone here about our childish behaviour. Please satisfy what you have purchased and I will satisfy what I have purchased. Please don’t revile other’s purchasing decisions as what you did to Saurav. Leave them to satisfy with their decision. Please don’t be angry with me, we have been replying each other for one month and let’s keep that friendship in future also. If we argue continuously like this, everyone here will perceive that we have some kind of problem.
At least for now, please stop arguing about phones.

Are you kidding me!!!! G2 was the best phone of 2013 period. It had snapdragon 800, an astounding battery life, a decent camera and good enough screen. I'm a proud g2 owner. G2 is still a great phone.
I'm just saying g3 is not an upgrade over g2. It doesn't get improved much. AND specs do matter. I can say how a phone will perform entirely based on specs. If a phone has same camera sensor with same processing, it's not going to produce greater shots.
Smartphones next year will sport QHD displays that's for sure but those smartphones will have better GPUS that will handle QHD just fine. Also QHD manufacturing process will be refined and we'll get displays which will consume less power. I don't see the need for QHD with snapdragon 801 as adreno 330 is weak for that.
Your post just doesn't make sense. You rejected s5. I know that. And as far as I know, LG and Samsung follow almost the same approach and the phones are very similar. The UI are similar with loads of features. This year both went flat. Touchwiz looks more refined and better oriented and optimus UI is faster. I love both. You told you preferred m8 over s5 because it has better speakers and premium body. Now in g3, the body is slippery plastic and that's even worse than the soft touch plastic on s5. You're just not making any sense.
I own g2 from months and it's great. The g3 seems the same with almost no upgrades. I see no reason that g3 is superior to m8 and s5. Can you enlighten me how are you feeling that g3 is better.
Asks regarding the camera, I also own a NEX 5r. But I don't carry it everywhere. So phone camera is important.
Everyone has his own choices. I agree to that pretty much. But your choices are seeming to me like a fanboy now. I'll not buy company A or B but only company C or D. You preferred m8 over s5 for some reasons and when a similar phone as s5 comes from your favourite brand, you're enticed. I don't think in any way g3 is superior to m8 and s5, it's their competitor however. And this is from an LG phone owner.

I never faced any problem with it. Actually, I have hands on experience with G2. Last year I went to buy a new TV with my father, I checked it in the LG showroom. Of course, it’s not quite impressive when comparing to my previous HTC M7. But history never repeats. It doesn’t mean that their next phone is bad because of their previous phone was bad. For instance, all the Samsung flagship phones are not really impressive after the Galaxy S2.
Another thing is, I don’t care about those specs and illogical comparisons. All I care about real-life performance. I know that there is no any phone can compete with the build quality of the HTC phones. If can, it’s only Nokia Lumia phones. They are not designed in metal, but aluminium frame with polycarbonate back. Nevertheless, they don’t feel cheap as Samsung phones. I don’t care about phone cameras even though it has a 100 mp sensor. I use Lumix for my primary photography.
I don’t think I’ll ever buy a Samsung or Sony phone for many years; they are out of my list. At the moment, my favourite brands are HTC, Apple and LG. I think I can choose which phone I should buy according to my knowledge and experience, likewise Saurav chooses a HTC M7 according to his preferences. According to me, the G3 is a great phone with compared to G2 or even S5, Z2 and M8. LG is the world third largest phone manufacturer. Whether you like it or not, many the flagship phones will come with a QHD display in next year. I’m not sure whether I should buy or not to buy a G3. G3 and iPhone 6 are my highly anticipated phones. However, this decision doesn't reflects that I'm not satisfy with the HTC M8, but I'm going to experience something new.
Anyway, thanks for the advice.
