AnonD-119255, 27 May 2014Hi techno j.m8 is better than one max.and why!.i am one max user,m8 demo is not available in m... moreRaaj Mangat,

Actually, I personally never used an HTC One Max. However, I have checked it in a phone store. The main reason why I don't like the One Max, because it is too huge, larger than even Note 3.

Specs wise, the M8 is definitely better. Similarly, display on the M8 is better than the One Max display. I can't say which camera is better at the first hand, because I never used the One Max camera. But the M8 camera certainly has new features. Another advantage of the M8 is its motion gestures which haven't on the One Max. I suppose the main advantage the One Max has over the M8 is its excellent battery life.

If you certainly need a phablet phone, I recommend you the upcoming HTC Max 2 which plan to release in the second quarter of this year. As a general phone, I guess M8 is ideal for you.

If you need any further assistance, feel free to ask.

A incredible phone by HTC but I still think 5.2" is the norm now compare to 5". An increase in camera megapixel n battery would really do some good to the already awesome spec n features.

Bought it 3 days back. I must say I'm in love with this phone. My phones Antutu score is 38566 which shocked me. Low megapixel is not at all problematic as it's picture quality is awesome. Very beautiful screen and superb touch. I guess it got floating touch as sometime touch is responding while I'm not touching the screen properly. Rs- 48000 is not waist for me. Njoying it's buttery smooth UI. And lastly it's style. Ufff it's lovely.. thank u HTC For this lovely smartphone.. loved it.

i read your suggestion for about 3 or 4 times and realized your point what actualy you are try to explain. i know Note 3 is a state of the art product from Mobile Giant, and let me tell you my heart also sounds for Note3 big size does;nt matter. i see lots of drops tests on youtube as you suggested and i realized that poly plastic have ability to absorb sudden shock. i have'nt notice any difference in S4 or S5 hardware is almost same only S5 have advantage in Camera and Fingerscaner department.
So again thanks alot for your suggestion. in next 2 or 3 days INSHA ALLAH i will purchase my Note3 in Abu Dhabi.
                Many thanks from Lahore,PAKISTAN...tc

Metal build phone are actually not as good as imagined,I'll prefer high-end quality plastic over metal. You'll easier to get bump or scratch in compare with plastic, weight will be lighter, price will be cheaper.Anyone who want to get the One,better wait for the plastic One.+Cheaper price and better camera(in term of megapixel)with same good specs.

AnonD-116479, 26 May 2014Check your ringing tone and ringing tone volume. Similarly, make sure the profile set as general. Techno J. In your small review of m8, you talked about the battery life by regards of your usage pattern which doesn't quite depict a clear picture of the actual performance of the phone on battery life ground.

It would be better if you tell us the on-screen time of m8 from battery drain from 100 % to 1 %. Just charge the phone to 100 %, use it normally till 1 or 2 percent. Go to settings> battery. There you'll get the percentages of battery used by different objects/apps. The highest will be screen. Just click on the screen and it will tell you the time for which screen was on. This on screen time is almost constant for a device and hence it's a more standard way to describe battery life.

Tell the time in hours and minutes. For example, my s4 lasts a day of heavy use with an on screen time of 5 hours on average. If can go upto 9-10 hours of on-screen time if I read a book in night mode( I.e white letters on black background. Typical OLED favourable scenario).

Hence, it would be better if you post on screen time instead of the time you're getting on it and using subjective terms like heavy or moderate use.

                          Have a nice day

Dear Sohailzafar .... S4 is past now so the it out of the list. I am using note 3 and as per my needs it's the best because of the s pen and the unbeatable SOME app. Android experience will be same on all you mentioned because note 3 is now kitkat ... I like samsung because they always provide removable battery which is actually a very nice feature and people don't notice it that much. One you are used to of Samsung keyboard I bet you will miss it if you change get to another phone. HTC one 8 is nice I have used the previous version but for a 5 inch screen that e phone has bigger body and slippery. IPhone is nice but I never used it and don't want to too because it's too small for me and I prefer android or windows over IOS .... Not 3 is supposed to be used by business people who, IT guys who attend lots of meetings or have to take lots of note, for example I easily create work flow diagrams and flow charts on my note 3, convert them to PDF in one click and send to you programmers within minutes and my desk is paperless now I am sure u get my point. People don't realize that Samsung plastic body is more strong than metal and glass with metal .... don't belive me see drop test videos and read about plastic and how it absorbs shocks better.
So if you don't have problem with large phone and want to be creative Note 3 is the best choice, otherwise you can select S5 (awesome camera, removeable and large battery, water proof and off course samsung is the top brand and you get lots of apps from Samsung app store), HTC one M8 (nice design, all sets have 4G LTE, rich look) ....

Love this phone. I couldn't wait to get rid of the Samsung S4 which had just so many weaknesses.back with HTC and happy again. It's just so well built, so adaptable texts 10 texts lengths in one go unlike 3 for Samsung. Is fast responsive and the battery lasts two days with features turned on that would have to have been turned off to get one day out of the S4.
