This is the best android phone in past years....note 4 the only possible alternative option. Tried to upgrade to a newer iPhones just didn't need work.htc m8 is like a tank... work good, speakers are good, camera to me is good, I just don't understand why people complaining.... in march will be 3 years since this model was released and bravo to HTC company for such well done product.

Today it's my full 2 years using this beast with no problems. Next month I'm gonna buy htc 10 to partner with my m8. M8 best phone ever created in this world

This is 2.5 year old mobile, but its perfomance is very good. I am using this mobile from the last 1 and half years. still this phone is very strong. No lag, Nice screen, boomsound speeker good. Only downside I found on this mobile is camera. Really bad picture quality front and back. Otherwise this is great phone to buy. I am going to buy HTC 10 for my second htc phone.

AnonD-590274, 27 Sep 2016Just bought HTC M8 International variant through OLX. When I came home and factory reset the p... moreyour problem is due to having rooted phone. I had the same problem with an HTC one m8 a few months earlier. It was in Kitkat and couldn't update it to lollipop just because it is roted. Today I bought another one and thankfully it is unrooted and upgrading android to it as I write. Now you have two options,
1. Download custom Marshmallow/Lollipop roms and flash with it.
2. There are some methods which can make your phone in the stock unrooted conditions and you can upgrade through OTA. Google it.

Hi! people, I have purchased the greatest HTC M8 phone, European version with Android 4.4.4, I have rooted, unlocked and install TWRP recovery, I install Marshmallow From Android revolution and was successfully installed but after rebooting phone just goes to bootloader, what can I do to install Android 6 on my phone? thanks.
