I used HTC M7 with no camera issues but people were complaining. Now I'm using HTC M8 which has a brilliant camera which took many steps forward to its predecessor. S4 & S5 camera is the same. Z1 & Z2 camera is the same. but coming to HTC M7 & M8 has taken camera department into a new era. And no one is applauding HTC unless people are being to badmouth HTC. It is not that I love HTC products, HTC phones are quitly brilliant. God bless HTC. HTC M8 will be crowned best phone in 2014. HTC for life no matter what

I really love HTC phones. I think the camera is great, I'm saying this because I sure own one. I wonder how many of these people diss the camera without actually having one and depending their opinion on paper. Forget the prejudice first and try it out for yourself.

I really love htc phones, they are fast and fluid, buid quality are good, but only thing whis is keeping me away from this phone is camera, I don't buy this phone because of camera has only 4 Up. I know, in low light are ok, but I'm doing one picture from 100 in low light.....I hope htc will put better camera in next one...

I bought this phone yesterday from india at a price of 50000. This phone s screen quality is awesome and so is the battey life u ll see a big change in the camera qualityonce u ll get an update of it. Its a very comfortable phone.the games are buttery smooth on it. I have tried injustice and asphalt 8. They run run as smooth as on my ipad air. The boom sound speakers and motion gestures are somthing u can t live without. It gpes from 0 to 80 in 1 hour. U wont regret if u ll go for this over s5 or iphone 5s.

the device feels great in hand and the camera is awesome and the sound is more higher and cleaner than the m7 tho the 5 mb front camera is great nop problems till now i have the 2.5 ghz cpu (asian model) actually it's more faster and smoother than the 2.3 edition u can check the benchmarks on all apps it will beat the samsung s5 and sony z2 great device long live htc.

Ultrapixel are 8 times bigger than megapixel. 4*8= 32 megapixel.

I don't know why people overrated HTC one m8, S5 beats m8 by its camera and its sensors.. i prefer plastic tech than alumnium low tech products. Samsung is the best!!!

M8 has the ultra power saving mood which has in the S5; so, it will optimise the battery life. You can use the phone around 6 -8 hrs even the battery life is at 15%. But the Z2 hasn't this feature. It's not really important me water-resistance & dust proof features. The zero gap design of M8 won't let damage the phone by water or dust.
Other than the 4K video recording feature the M8 is far more innovative phone than the Z2. The Z2 is just a copy of Z1 with upgrade of specs, nothing really special.
