So it's resolutio... moreWhy do folk keep saying this? 4megapixels is 4 megapixels just like 4 million carrots it 4 million carrots NOT 12 MILLION CARROTS..The ultra pixel is just a bigger pixel to capture more light that's it...This year and last rival cameras had just same low light performance as ultrapixel cam so HTC gimmick is over..
They should have gone to 8 megapixel cam not put in a poxy depth sensor that does not even do it right anyway..
If they had put in 8MP cam and 4K video this would have been smartphone of the year,,build quality/audio/battery life/screen/speed are all top notch ..If you can put up with cameras shortfall its best smartphone on market ATM.
What I have done is swallowed up that last years HTC ONE does not have micro sd slot and bought one second hasnd today for 200GBP 32GB version silver.

It has helped me take a lot of great shots and people love the photos. I went to a party recently with my friends and everyone wanted my phone to take photos with.. every shot looked great and had amazing clarity.. yes it does over expose few photos taken in bright light but that's a minor issue to me. HTC uses just 4mp and it still beats phones that have a higher megapixel count. People should realize that more isn't always better.

Different people have different ideas and no phone is perfect as soon as they are inventing new.
The quality of a phone is depend upon the idea of holder .
As for me , I like HTC rather than Samsung

i just got it from google play, but i do remember ordering the dark gray color and 16GB; the shipped the light gray but with 32GB =/

Bcz my htc device put me a huge... moreThe battery life is pretty good..should easily last a day on heavy usage...casual users will easily get 2 days...and also battery charges very very fast...the capacity is small but it the software is so good...

You cannot write on external SD from any application with android version 4.4.2 kitkat. It was google's limitation and not the manufacturers fault.. ask the other brand with android 4.4.2 kitkat.

htc m8 , first flaw , htc pushed the m8 with the added micro sd card slot , great you say , what they didn't do was add the software , have tried several apps and none so far is compatable , and as for their technical support line , youd get more help from a nursery school
