AnonD-251547, 07 Apr 2014What is the use of Dual 4MP camera???it is not Dual .. it is Ultra MP that 's mean that the 4MP is equal 8 MP
AnonD-126679, 07 Apr 2014Why so few MegaPixels you ask ?
Sony's newest a7s is 12MP: https://www.imaging-resource.com... moreNice comment and this is a good evidence for HTC fans that even though a lower megapixel amount still HTC is the best. That's what I tried to prove here. Specs doesn't matter if the real life performances are good. If you still think that HTC One camera is bad, you need to look at this
After carefully thought, I just ordered a HTC M8. Probably, I will get it within next 2 days. I'll add a detailed review here as soon as get it.

What does HTC's M8 look like in the dark:
Comparison: HTC M8 vs iPhone 5s
Low light: HTC One M8 1080P Video Night Test
In a NightClub: HTC One M8 Camera Night Test
In the dark: HTC One M8 1080P Video Night Test
Do you see any noise from the M8 in the BLACK areas, NO !
about the weight of the phone personally for me i have used the galaxy note 2 for a whole year and the weight was perfectly fine for me and the m8 is much lighter then it so. plus everyone says that the weight makes it feel more premium
I think that we should take it easy with the specs.
Most of the time better looking specs on paper are not a reflection of the user experience, for example:
My iphone 5 may have lower specs compared to my htc one but the LTE connectivity and speed of the iphone 5 is faster.
The camera of HTC one is much snappier and clearer than that of Samsung S4 even though the former only has 4MP (ultrapixel for the purists).
I think specs should not be an issue worth arguing about, real user experience is. Just try in your nearest neighborhood dealers first everything you feel like buying on every aspect, compare and you'll probably amaze yourself that the one you choose does not necessarily top the specs in that category. Sometimes, things that look scientific like specs are not really scientific. Give it a go.
I'm sonyericcson fan.but letter try htc windows phone it just a disappointment to me.that's why i runaway from htc phones. currently using sony Xperia tx. Which is flawless to me. i'm waiting for z2 but sony keep delaying.now htc m8 attracted me due to users review but i'm still doubting about the camera. i love music and camera phone.

The OtterBox is not as cute as an Otter, that is fur sure !
They have ultra thin clear plastic Cases for a few Phones (including the M7), just wait until the M8 version comes out. You can see the metal easily.
Available at BestBuy, etc.
I bought the phone the day it came out because I loved the M7 so much. At first I really like it. But after a few days, it's suuuuper slippery, it's top heavy, too tall, and the pictures are indeed washed out. Plus, I have the gunmetal and it already scratched on the back just by laying it on my table, whereas I never had a case on my M7 and the back is perfect.
I love HTC but this is kind of a disappointment. I love the gestures (double tap to wake up, etc.) and it's slicker and faster than the M7 (though not by much), but I can't get past the size and the picture quality. And I'm an HTC fan.
Due to the slippery, delicate feel, I put it in an Otterbox Commuter case. Now the phone is ginormous (almost phablet size) and heavy. It certainly won't fit in a front pocket of your jeans easily.
I'm torn between giving it more time, or returning and trying the S5 or Z2 or G3. They're all going to be huge phones, but at least they'll be lighter. I love the metal body, but if you have to cover it in a plastic case because it scratches so easily, then what's the point? Now you just have a heavier, plastic looking phone
Had resound, to Apple 5, back to droid w the M8. Love the phone. Design, sexy. Camera, despite the negative reviews I've seen, I like it. Could've been better but it has a fast focus and snaps one after another quickly. Flash is very bright. Interface, superb. Voice recognition and understanding is just about flawless. Siri doesn't stand a chance. ONLY COMPLAINT: it's a killer for me and over seen by many. You lose a lot of screen space w the notification bar on top, the menu buttons on bottom and the must have icon dock on top of that. Total lost space is just about 1.5" all together. 1" whenever you're not on the home screen. That bites. I feel I get cheated in the "bigger screen". SOLUTION: allow the notification bar to hide, the dock icons is a must have but the menu touch buttons below could've been on the bottom frame of the phone. "htc" centered logo should be the home button, the other 2 menu buttons beside it. Simple. For that reason I'm considering the Samsung. I hope HTC sees this and considers it on future phones. Otherwise, good phone.
emez, 06 Apr 2014You are really HTC landlord,m8 is a great phone ,but as you said that m8 is not better than lg... moreHow can you say it Z2 coming in 4/5 weeks ans Samy next week .

AnonD-116479, 06 Apr 2014Yeh, I have zoomed photos which taken from M7. We can't zoom much (maximum 4x) photos and it's... moreA smaller image sensor has trouble in low light nowt to do with blurryness,,the reson it blurs is poor resolution.
M8 Truly seems like an excellent phone, I still cant forgive HTC for Past mistakes, sorry htc maybe next year
afraaa, 06 Apr 2014did u ever try to zoom on your picture ? then u see whats miss htc even with m7 .
ppl know w... moreYeh, I have zoomed photos which taken from M7. We can't zoom much (maximum 4x) photos and it's start to blur if you zoom optimum level. However, this issue is only happen if you try to zoom photos in a computer display Although, it's never blur photos in the phone display.
This is a common problem that every phone camera has. Because, phone cameras has a small image sensor, unlike DSLR or digital cameras.
