Mate those are 7 inch tablet spec. Highest so far is 3200mAh and HTCs batteries are crap. Don't expect it higher than 3000mAh.
16MP Ultrapixel? Do you understand how this works? And htc would never make it 16MP. They don't care about megapixels at all. 16MP on front? Keep dreaming.
2 cameras are for 3D cameras I suppose like the Evo 3D? Or possibly improvements to auto focusing and lighting.
its dual camera with 5 ultra pixel...
i think, i am exciting for this phone..
Reasons not to go for Htc one 2014:
Only 5 megapixels camera
No memory card slot
No increase in RAM size
On screen menu buttons to save space but still htc logo on front is taking too much space
Yeah! its good. HTC should maintain 5 inch phone for general purposes, for me its better if they the camera in the center of that speaker, i mean they split the speaker into two.
For the bigger grow of HTC they must have 16MP Ultrapixel front and back with ISO which Sony have.
They must also bounce there RAM into 4GB which is the most attractable to all then having 3GB like Galaxy Note/Galaxy S5.
Guys, it doesnt really matter if they have non-removable batteries as long as it have more capacity to make this device more powerful and useful to the user, for me they must have it 4000-5000 mAh batteries, one thing also the Li-Po is a safe battery than Li-ion as when batteries goes "BOOM" for the causes like power fluctuate or over charging it doesnt damage the main board for any leaking and for the final yes, its true they need to have a card slot just to make sure user can back-up files thru SD cards than having it thru Internet Back-up.
Primary camera sucks, just like on the original.
I used to own one, then I switched to galaxy s4.
camera-wise, the S4 blows the HTC one away.
Also, no memory expansion slot?
HEEEYY!! HTC pal! 5+5= 10 !!! did you try to learn maths? why 2 cams? one for your face and the other for your legs???? ...non microSD slot AGAIN? it cost like 5 dollars the card reader!! so greeeeddy.
No mention of battery size yet. Beats audio still around? New camera sounds interesting enough but will wait for testimonials. Really nothing to shout about. The shape is not appealing and the gold version looks like it's trying too hard. Will stick to my butterfly s. 😔
Joy, 19 Feb 2014Htc stil didnt learn their lesson . Still they are going along with non removable battery . Ho... moreReason why non removable batterys are used is so dust and ect dont ruin the batterys like the samsung ones.
thats why infact most companys do it
Joy, 19 Feb 2014Htc stil didnt learn their lesson . Still they are going along with non removable battery . Ho... morei have HD2 and before that Touch cruse. none of them needs to change their batteries. i using my HD2 about 4 years and never had problems with Batteries.so i don't think so that is big issue for a cellphone.
Don't suppose anyone knows why there are 2 cameras on the back as I can't find out why anywhere
After all you always take photos with low light... analize this and you will see that its true...
When you need a very good camera is "in low light condition". With excelent light (sun light) any camera take good photos.
Htc stil didnt learn their lesson . Still they are going along with non removable battery . Hope they learn their lesson quick before they sink deep into ocean
MattMafia, 19 Feb 2014Htc tried to copy the curve which sammy phones had
fsck with that! If I like it, i buy it.
I don't care what you say.
5 ultra pixel that's very good because 4 up is the same as about 13 mp so that's very good and that with 2 cameras
AnonD-207251, 19 Feb 2014HTC has an ultra pixel camera....... learn the difference before bashing a productUmp camera is great in low light condition. And that's all, nothing more. Because it captures more light. Or in full day, when 99% of people are taking pictures, the camera is less than mediocre on HTC ONE. Since 2007, when I've discovered HTC Tytn II, I had only HTC phones. I loved One, but its camera was the reason why I didn't upgrade my HTC ONE X.
First iPhone had crappy cameras, but in this compartment Apple learned its lessons and now it has one of the best. Same with Samsung..and I'm not even talking about Nokia.
Liking or not, smartphones are replacing point and shot cameras. And 5ump is a 2009/2010 standard (first on HTC HD if I remember correctly ) not a 2014 one.
It's a great ideea to have 2 backside cameras for Lytro effect and overall better quality..but if, ad least, they have 8mp. I'm not crying for 20mp, but 8 mp is minimum decency for a flagship.
But, actually, the pricing will be the most important aspect. No one expects Motorola G price, but if you show off with a phone with lower specs than competitors with same OS -Android- (and for now this is what it looks like, if you compare it with Samsung SG5) but with the same or higher price..bankruptcy will be imminent.
