Pee, 07 Aug 2015better hardware properties but poor software, poor camera............i feel like dumping it. t... moreHello Pee, I had the same camera issue when I just got my M8 but after wide reading on Internet I discovered that application of little toothpaste just to clean the camera outer surface can do the magic. I urge you to do the same.

better hardware properties but poor software, poor camera............i feel like dumping it. too bad for my liking. i just sold my galaxy S4 to get one m8, and all i feel is regret. i really miss my S4.

I hv 15 months with this phone no issues at all. wen I bought m8 my pals bought s5,z3,lumia but now they r using other phones because they had issues. m8 is good n powerful

the worst phone i have ever owned, i wish people on this site would talk sense instead of out of there backsides. has know one come across the problem of being able to receive an sms but unable to send them. google the problem the internet is full of forums and pages about this problem. the phones a joke. looks nice and thats about it

Paradox : taking a picture while some1 is running. Paradox. I thought we download pictures from luxurious cars in our phone. Are you that young to run around bugatti just to take a picture of it. Gone are those days unless you're a kid.

HTC's customer service is a series of disappointments and redundancies, not to mention the fact that their products have many shortcomings they are unwilling to make up for.
Over 7 months ago i sent in my phone with a slight crack in the screen to be repaired under the HTC Advantage program and my personal nightmare began...
First of all, if you are a customer in Canada, get out as fast as you can. I had to jump through hoops and practically bend over backwards to send my phone in for the repair i was entitled: sending it to a friend in new york to be mailed out because the postage they sent to me (at my address in canada) wouldn`t allow me to send it from home. Once i finally managed that, 3 weeks go by and still no news, with no loaner phone, i was forced to begin the most hellish customer service venture i've ever had.
When i finally lost patience and inquired about the repair status, i was told my ticket had been closed prematurely by an HTC rep', before the 30 days given to return the phone were over, and so, my phone was lost somewhere in their "repair" center. When found, and sent back (with no haste), my phone was returned to me with a dead pixel and glue marks under the screen. And so, frustrated with the now 2 months that had passed since my initial inquiry, i spoke to another representative about foregoing another botched repair, and just returning my phone altogether, to that, they told me, for the first of countless times, they would escalate my claim, and call me back within 24 to 48 hours.
Not only did i not get a callback, but i have since called what must be over a dozen times, including several calls to the corporate office, and speaking to several "supervisors", told by all i would receive a call back, that never came.
I am beyond frustrated, and just last night was on the phone with yet another HTC representative who put me on hold 4 times and told me twice he would like to call me back tomorrow. During our phone call he told me the very discouraging fact that in all his time working with HTC and customer complaints he had never heard of a single customer being granted a refund, which is what I had been requesting.
Today I got a call back and was told that if I`d like, I can send my phone in for another repair (through new york I take it?)- but was also offered the equally appealing consolation prize of requesting a refurbished phone IF i`m able to put $600 (the value of the phone) on hold until I can send them mine for them to pawn off on some other dissatisfied customer.
Anyone want to buy a used phone that`s aparently worthless just a year after being one of the `best` android phones on the market?

There are people like... moremost people just need to take pics fast without changing the settings like when you see a rare supercar passing by theres literally no time for settings tuning and its not about the amount of pixels its the quality of them like it has always been.....

mr popular, 27 Jul 2015i bought htc m8 nd d camera is worst..?Camera m8 is very good maby you dont know how to use and handle with it. There are people like me 😀 that can take good shots with even 5mp camera and there are people who probably wont take good shots even if there was a 30 mp camera.
