Fellow Htcians,
There's a guy called Hamdir from XDA Developers that guy has made me to fall in love with " so called bad camera". I learned how to take very decent pictures through his philosophy which is to put your phone on Manual and work out ISO. I didn't believe pictures I took came out of M8. Now, I can boldly and proudly say M8 captures best pictures. Patience is required in order to take a picture because of ISO. Never again will I put my camera settings on Auto. Media has led many people to belief m8 has got bad pictures. Even in 2015 no phone comes to m8. I'm highly satiated in so many things. I will about issues if they emerge. Nonetheless, HTC for life no matter what

GTS, 22 Apr 2015I did that, and still have the vibration on!!!!!!Try to go to settings then Sound and uncheck any vibration you find! As for Whatsapp or viber you have to change their vibration settings separately.
I hope this may fix the issue!

It's a general rule, that after any massive updates some things will be subtracted and others be supplemented. I perceive no major changes thus far. However, battery takes me two days and half with a very normal use. I'm loving it. Internet is no longer responsive as it was, perhaps it's a new SIM card that I have inserted. Battery,BlinkFeed and sound that comes out of this speakers remains indomitable. I truly love this phone even after the update it works flawlessly. Nonetheless,HTC for life no matter what

I have heard that, lollipop update is not recommended to be installed. I am getting system update alerts for lollipop updates.
Please someone help if I should update it or stay on Android Kitkat

I updated to 5.0.1 mainly because I heard 5.1 is on the pipeline. You know how rumours could be, all we need to do is to take these rumours as a pinch of salt. Lollipop 5.0.1 is adorable although I haven't tested camera yet. Nonetheless, HTC for life no matter what

I have both the HTC m8 and the Droid Turbo. The Droid Turbo gets better reviews due to some of the update specs, but I can tell you the M8 has better color lines on the screen for daylight viewing, the battery life actually last longer than the Turbo, I think because the bloatware , its lighter,built a little better and looks a heck of lot better. Although both phones are great I would personally choose the M8 over the Turbo because of above mentioned points. When it comes down to it, it is a personal preference, I am not one to be with the in crowd ( apple ) I guess I practice the sensible thing to do and choose what works best for me, and yes I have used all the apple devices because my sons have them and love them. But again they are in there 20s and I am in my 60s, believe me that does make a difference.

I have updated m8 to Lollipop after I heard that there's gonna be 5.1 for m8. After the update immediately I did factory reset as many of you have suggested. it looks great but let me go and download apps to see how they operate under lollipop. Nonetheless, HTC for life no matter what
