you hardly can find a phone that runs seamlessly on Android L which says it has issues. I told my fellow Htcians on Xda forum not to be quick to update to Android L and they criticise me and now they're wearing miserable countenances because of lots of issues after update. Some companies jumped from 5.0 to 5.1 mathematically it shows there are issues with Android L. I'm enjoying my M8 under Kitkat I will therefore, update after htc has provided solid updates. Nonetheless, htc for life no matter what

ive used this phone for 3 months.. and i updated to lollipop already.. ok, first of all the battery life is terrible on lollipop, its better while using kit kat..i discharged my phone at 8am and 5 or 6 hours later it became 20%..what the fcuk.. really not good.. and second, the phone got really heat up when using it for a while and i dont really like it.. third, i found when i update my phone to lollipop it hangs a bit.. theres a glitch here and there like when using a messenger, fb, and sometimes with blinkfeed.. it lags a bit..pls fix this htc.. you ruin a very very good phone.. i dont have neither of this problems when im using kit kat before.. its so annoying

becky01, 27 Feb 2015ive updated to lollipop and im fininding alot of glitches with my M8 now. i love my phone. any... morei agreed.. ive found this problem since using kit kat already.. but the phone did not glitch for long.. it hangs a bit but not much not often, even my cousins iphone 6 hangs here and there but not much.. so it happened to all smartphones..you just have to deal eith it.. what i do really like Bout the m8 is the fluidity, the smoothness and fast response in everyday use..and ofcourse boomsound blinkfeed and so on.. its just my opinion though..

i bought HTC ONE M8 two months before and have updated to lollipop... love this phone. but worried about the battery performance. it is not even staying awake for 7 hours even though am not an over user. am confused whether i should replace the phone.

It's awesome.I like this phone very much.Now i'm waiting for the new one of HTC, ONE M9.Of course it's much better than M8 from the camera and others.

There are better phone cameras but they are phone cameras and not as good as a point and shoot camera.
Mpx is one characteristic, but there are more.

Still, I just can't help but think people are tricking themselves into believing that. My experiences with this phones are positive, except for the camera (not flagship-worthy).

Needless to say, there's no mind stricken camera out there, that's why, every year all companies improves their camera inclusive to software and hardware. Phones are always like that, I love m8 with all my heart but m9 will be better than m8 but I will adhere to m8 until it worn out. iPhone 6 stole m8 design now S6 goes on to steal from what has been stolen. Eventually, it's a personal preferences. I take pictures everyday and they look decent. For now, I'm more enjoying BlinkFeed and Zoe on daily basis. Nevertheless, HTC for life no matter what

One more thing, I don't need to lie to myself, where did you get that idea? I am a happy camper and as I said I do could ask for more in terms of camera quality. Go find your own happiness!

The lack of details is just too visible for me. I just can't understand how some people can say this phone has a good camera - it's most likely that people can't accept that they bought a flagship phone with a bad camera. Lying to yourself isn't going to make it any better. :)

Junaid nebari, 18 Feb 2015Does m8 hangs? Slr camera? Hw s it?Yes, it does hang sometimes but it's not that bad. The camera is wonderful, I could ask for more but it's suit well with my liking. The battery is great, I don't need to get a power bank or anything. It last me a full day even on 90%. Truly, an amazing flagship phone!

Anku, 25 Feb 2015Can anyone tell me whats the function or use of dual camera at back ?The top lens is a secondary lens that does depth measurements. When that information is applied to the pictures taken with the Primary (bottom) lens, it allows for some pretty cool post-processing of the pictures.
Similar to the Lytro.
