The M8 has the right chip set. It gets a bit warm so I typically put mine in airplane mode or just power it off if I am charging from >20% up to full charge

I'm using an HTC m8 Verizon unlocked version, the phone is taking too much time to charge with the charger that came with the box (around 7hrs).i tested Lenovo s660 charger and that works fine. But I couldn't get that from anywhere now. So can anyone suggest a charger that can be available and suitable.

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2014NEVER, NEVER, NEVER buy any HTC product. They are awful. I have my harmon / kardon edition M8 ... moreLook up any torture test on YouTube. The HTC M8 is one of the toughest smartphones on the market. To say that all HTC devices are garbage because you had some odd experience with one phone is simply ignorant.

Why did the value of the phone drop so quick?!

Is the because of the M8 Eye edition just announced ?

The features are good on the paper but many bugs haven't been solved yet making the device not really usable for professionnal needs.

Messages left on the message box are annonced delayed (this was not the case with my IPhone).

TOMTOM app got stucked every time I was really needing it (on holliday) other apps like Financial ones bugging. Access to contacts not as easy, still work to do to get the simple things working.

The perfomance of the processor is good the memory SD is also appreciated, the camera flash works fine but should have red eyes function today not having it is simply not understandable. Stabilization is also missing although the camera is very good.

The battery hardly finishes the day, this is a shame to have a so big phone with still not enough autonomy.

Speakers are good and the screen definition is also good.

The phone turns itself on in the pocket if not locked with a pin code.

I had an IPhone and I miss it's reliability. Hopefully the 6 plus will do the work.

There will be no "m9" the next best android phone will be aria and it wont be out for another 2+ years.

The HTC One M8 is the best phone with the best build quality available. Get "i"Phone out of your mind.
Apple was innovative when they dropped the first iPhone but now they are just grasping at straws.
And for those of you who are hell bent on the fingerprint readers there is software available now that will let you use the first and second camera combined on the back as a fingerprint reader and it works fantastically well and smooth as sild. Much better than the iPhone. Its called ice unlock or ice security unlock or something just look it up.

M8 is the king right now especially the gsm version which can easily be changed into the harman kardon eddition with full use of clarify.
