Hi guys, I like HTC ONE M8 to buy.
But I heard that it get heated compared to other similar phones.
Appreciate if you share your experience.
So far its been a wonderful experience these past 1 week of usage. it has been a better alternative to the M9 and M8 both price wise and feature wise.
Camera has become very sluggish. Anyone else facing the same problem?
Mehrab, 29 May 2015does htc one e8 eye suport otg and TV out ?No htc m8 eye does't have tv out
After the update of Lollipop battery is not even coming for one day even though bettrry saver is on...seriously I don't like the update
Really dissapointed with this substandard update. Blasted 37k and waited 3 months for 5.1 with sense 7(which they promised). Got a laggy 5.0.2 with stupid lock screen and worthless camera app update. Preloaded Kitkat was better than this pathetic excuse of an "upgrade". Selling this and getting another phone. And btw low end devices from htc got 5.1. Never buy region specific phones...lesson learned in an expensive way.
Guys Im using htc one m8 EYE (gun metal grey) it is a great phone no doubt in that, recently i brought dot view case for my phone after 6 month using it daily i stared to observe some white dots and also a square mark near logo (actually on dot case you will see small iron which is in square shape) now please tell me guys how to remove that thing

Vasishta, 01 Jun 2015Does htc m8 EYE support quick charge 2.0 like htc one m8 Yes it does.. but u need to buy the separate charger for that .. don't know regarding availability.
Guys what are your reviews about the lollipop update? Plz let me know if you all are facing issues. Should I upgrade mine or should I wait for a newer version to release ?
The HTC One M8 brought from the Middle Eastern region (but being used in Sri Lanka) just got the update to Lollipop. The file was a 587MB update. Took a while to update, which surprisingly included several restarts before the phone was available for use.
Features that are obvious,
1. A more sharper font
2. The notification icons are different and have a different way to be accessed
Yet to see if the impact on everyday battery life has reduced (as was the case for the M8 based on Gsmarena tests). Hopefully the very long delay of the update being given to the M8 Eye has fixed these niggles and improved upon the M8 update!
