its a great phone . i bought it two weeks ago.before that i has samsung s6 t was a nighmare for me specialy its cheap brand. HTC A9 design and camera and sence and everything about it is just beyond compare to other phone ive had before. in compare to iphone6s i go for this and ill never regret that even for a second. the fast charging is aslo awsome . I use the 16/2 one.. it is OK.. all negative draw backs are not valid... including the battery, I see the software more stable and does not eat your battery in the background... If I compare it to LG G4 or Sony Z3 batteries, I would definitely rank it better in terms of software stability ,power consumption and heat build up at the same configuration and downloaded applications.

I have 32g and 3g ram of a9 and for sure it is the best phone I ever have.every thing is perfect from camera to speed and battery life

this will def fail as HTC without Boom speakers is nothing. all HTC users are so used to boom speakers that they will not upgrade to it

I hope that this design won't evolve into HTC sign. HTC One M9's and its predecessors have the best design HTC has ever introduced. It makes HTC phones look exceptional from the mainstream phones so it'd be hard to see it dying.

THWIN, 07 Jan 2016Hi bro, THz for your real user experience. Is ur device 3GB or 2GB ram? I am not very frien... moreFrom morning it can last you to 7 or 8 PM really depending on your usage. I dont play games at all and that's mostly what I can get from this battery. MY device is 2 GB RAM WITH 16 GB STORAGE.

I am using HTC device since 2010, I have not noticed such type of heating issue. I was used HTC wildfire, Desire S, One X, Desire 610 and presently I am using Desire 626, nothing about heating. Be careful about spread rumor....

You should see what's inside a HTC phone. I think when they designed it, they said something like "screw the interior, let's just make it look and work ok".

Dear colleagues,
I am an HTC fan since 2012, my first phone was HTC Desire HD, next was HTC One Max, and the current one is HTC A9. The following is my HONEST review of the HTC One A9, all of the following information are according to my personal usage for one month.
1- Build Quality: Beyond excellent. If you purchased the HTC Dot View grap, you will feel the need to get your phone out all of the time just to touch it and feel its superb, smooth and extraordinary build quality.
2- Screen: Pro: Sharpness is excellent, all colors are accurate and natural, as usual. Con: Outdoors at sunlight, the visibility is low, you have to turn the brightness to maximum.
3- Performance: Sense is smooth as usual, highly customizable and well organized. RAM is more than enough, usually with apps running in the background you will get about 1.5 GB / 2 GB occupied. I don't know about gaming because I don't play demanding games on mobile. I haven't experienced any overheating issues so far. Marshmallow is running without any problems and I haven't got any apps to crash so far.
4- Voice calls / Signal Quality: Voice is clear and loud. Signal reception is amazing. I live in an area where the reception is pretty bad on most phones, yet I am one of the few residents who can get a consistent signal.
5- Music Loudness: With earphones on, I dare you turn the loudness more than 70%, you might suffer hear loss :D. As for speaker, the sound is clear, yet I did not find it as loud as the previous BoomSound dual speaker setup.
6- Camera: I am not a fan of taking photos/selfies either. But occasionally when I did, the photos were more than great to me, I am not a camera expert, sorry. But overall, satisfying to me.
7- Battery life: Now that's the bullet in the heart of the HTC One A9. Under any circumstances, the maximum screen time you can get is 4 HOURS AND 15 MINUTES MAXIMUM. Thats with usage ranging from AVERAGE TO ABOVE AVERAGE. If you want my usage pattern, here's the link for them
