What will be the expected price and whether it has notification led light ?
Phone is looking awesome, only one issue that is battery, with 3GB RAM and these specification should have more than 3000mAh battery
damn this design is lazy as fuck, it can have better specs or whatever than the iPhone but it lacks originality. (same goes for Meizu) Im not saying either one is better but embody your own company's identity like samsung, lg, microsoft, sony, ... laziness like that hurts as a designer.
Anonymous, 27 Oct 2015I guys, I would like to buy a HTC A9 on the USA market but use it in Italy, does anyone know ... moreIf I was you I would check with my network provider. Choose your network you intend to use in Italy and phone or go instore and ask if this phone if you buy it will work on their network. Also double check it is unlocked I have imported stuff (i am UK) and its all in Chinese writing or it has been locked to a foreign network.
The price of the A9 will be $100 more if you don't preorder?
My last 2 phones were HTC but HTC has lost all ability to produce value in a phone. RIP.
Planing to buy htc one A9 but price should be less from apple so that middle class family can buy
I would like to buy a HTC A9 on the USA market but use it in Italy, does anyone know if if will work, please?
I tried to compare the different frequences in use in the two Countries but I cannot be sure.
Thank you in advance
[deleted post]HTC is way better than iphone. HTC is more durable, smooth than iphone.
Ankz, 24 Oct 2015Damn! such a nice phone with poor processor... atleast they should have used 808, if they want... moreNothing wrong with the SoC. If it was a 615 or 616, then I'd agree. But 617 has enough practical and useful differentiation to make it a good Soc. Besides, qualcomm likely picked the right clockspeeds this time to alleviate any overheating. 1.7 ghz was too fast for a 28nm A53, and 1.0 ghz was too slow for basic tasks which will lead to unnecessary core cluster switching (which is what happened with the 615).
Processors are more than CPU and GPU clockspeeds. This thing has a lot of new options and capabilities that make it IMHO a better deal than putting an 801/805, which only really excel in meaningless amounts of additional speed. Sure, the GPU is better, but that's only a deal if you play intensive mobile games. Cat 7 speeds (300dl / 100ul), carrier aggregation, quick charge 3.0, and efficient yet sufficient A53s make the 617 a winner in my book.
no matter who copied whom..if u like then buy and if it would be a i phone clone then apple would must take some legal action against htc..i like it very much specially for camera and design and tnx to this competitive market of smartphone otherwise we would not see these type of outstanding devices...
