Dont buy htc phones they have worst camera and this device has copied back look ok iphone 6 and fron of samsung note 5
dnd, 21 Oct 2015It will be another failure of HTC definitely. Actually it has hurt the emotions of htc users; ... moreRight, some negative comments from iphone maniacs. When will this people realize that every time you buy an iphone you are being completely robbed. You are paying similar features but for 30% more. And the contractual plans are ridiculous, again much more expensive on iphone than any other brand.
HTC is a sucessful machine, far better overal than iphone or any other manufacturer, and it's not made of plastic like many other brands. What really annoys me is paying hundreds for a plastic device.
In the race of who is better and delivering high specs, all the smartphone manufacturers forgot how to deliver a balanced smartphone. 2 years back 1GB RAM with Snapdragon 600 was the standard, then yearly twice all OEMs started increasing the capacity and I wonder 2 years back, 1 GB RAM single core processor would bear heavy usage with normal heat, and today with high end configuration things haven't changed much other than the hype. I always wondered why there won't be a balanced device. I think HTC took this initiative to take a step back and made with latest SD 617 processor with 3GB/2GB of RAM with very good camera not focussing on Mega Pixels (21MP HTC M9 failed), but on quality. In my opinion this mobile should give us best performance (not on chart - but on usage!), very nice camera and good battery life without heat. Lets wait and watch, all other OEMs would follow this path..

Yes Apple copied HTC design, back then when HTC released its first touch screen smartphone, everyone copied the same design. At the end of the day HTC and Apple signed 10 year no lawsuit agreement in 2012 so that both the companies can cross utilize the efforts of designers and researchers in both companies. Being a customer one shouldn't be worried at this fact, because ultimately we are getting the best phones

Actually it has hurt the emotions of htc users; ... moreto be fair apple copied the first iterations of the HTC One series when they brought out the iPhone 6 so i cont understand why people are complaining about the HTC A9 looking so much like the iPhone
I guess this is the end of HTC, officially. They can join the ranks with Nokia.
AnonD-458124, 22 Oct 2015Dealbreakers: 1) ridiculously underpowered battery in that big case. 2) that big case - it's j... moreThis is a mid-tier phone... not a flagship like what the Galaxy S5 was. The equivalent was the HTC One M8 which has stereo speakers. You're comparing 2 different tiers of devices. But yes the next flagship they release in May should have stereo speakers.
this phone is awsome but little bit mistake made battery has given 2150 MAH only an d in todays date no on willl accepet this in this cast wilke having features of soo mouch but got damnmed in batterry make some improve ment
for all folks talking about copying,, keep in mind that HTC was the first phone maker who adopted aluminium cases in mobile phone industry, the top and bottom strips were already available in all M series. the only thing HTC has done that they dropped off the curved back side which is a thumbs up step forward.
In Denmark the small version with 2gb ram 16gb memory is going to cost a whopping equivalent of $757, completely out of this world ridiculous. Just make this an US only release.
Dear HTC! If you want, this device to sell like hot cakes, forget the high price! Forget what Apple is doing with their Iphones! This is not going to work! You need premium devices at a lower price. If you listen to this, you will survive the next 2 years for sure.
AnonD-387282, 21 Oct 2015HTC ONE M7: 2013 Iphone 6: 2014 Now tell me who is copying whose design.Look at iPod 5th gens design, then look at iPhone 5's design, iPhone 6 is a combination of both.
Dealbreakers: 1) ridiculously underpowered battery in that big case. 2) that big case - it's just too long. 3) where are the stereo speakers - which are a hallmark of what's good about HTC? I guess I just have to stick with my Galaxy S5 and hope Samsung, which really doesn't care about its older phones, finally gives it Marshmellow.
