I bought this discount at HTC US for $299
So far it is the best smartphone ive ever had
obviously cant be compared with the IPhone, which are flagship with higher price
The A9 offer everything I need: very smooth, great camera, excellent sound in a slim deep red design which u can not find from other manufacturers
8/10, the baterry is not really good even with snap617 and android Nougat

My boyfriend has it and it is still running smoothly, he is happy with his phone, always saying htc is the best. Only the battery is quite weak but if you do not mind it, for 250 bucks it is such a great deal. (when it was released, its price was around 600 euro)
The camera is still good in 2017, the photos are clear, front camera could be better..
If you are ok with older models, I can suggest to you LG G2 for the same price, but with 3000 battery.

Hi all. I found this phone for abt 250 bucks ($) is it still worth it in 2k17? It's this or one s9/x9. The battery isn't that important.. any phone i had needed charge at 4 pm 😂 i am an extremely aggressive phone user so the battery for me is irelevant.

If phone automatically restarts then could be virus issue....format the SD card and try.

Am.I the only one experiencing this? After update to 7.0 sometimes when the phone is not in use and I press the Home button to access the phone it take about 30s to 1min to display. Any solution to this

Hi , I just got my phone updated to the latest software yesterday. But since the update is done my phone doesn't ring for incoming calls or messgs. The ring automatically goes silent. I have restarted the phone 3 times. The phone rings for sometime but then automatically there is no ringtone for incoming messgs and calls. Old help

I have HTC a9 2gb 16gb version now some days notifications software update available but when installation start after 15 % failed & resort & msg again software update available when Wi-Fi connect it's downloading start and complete download but same installation failed 1.04gb update package.

Not the phone for someone who hasn't used HTC (like me). Too many HTC features which can't be removed. Every update seems to make the phone worse for me, where some of my apps stopped working. The Camera is very poor. These are my opinions driven from my phone so best of luck with yours

Rest your phone if you didn't after update to nougat.
