Thank god i got rid of it
Not ergonomic at all like ppl say, it is so sharp with no roundations, its sides irritates u in the hand
Battery life was tragedy
M8 has a stupid camera, m9 gets hot, 10 is miserably expensive, new desire line is not good 628,630..etc
I miss htc at the good old days of desire 500 and even desire v
I cant get with new gen of htc phones at all, i hate samsung and i am an android not ios guy
So,, ,,,back to xperia then! I remember i loved z2 and z3 so much, i think i will try the new x-line, gotta think which of them suits me
Kindly suggest me which is better A9 or ME . Which one has got better speed ?
Koundy, 24 Jan 2017Anyone got the nougat update in India. When is it expected?Don't know about that but still waiting in northern Europe too.
AnonD-636011, 21 Jan 2017Thanks but do you think it's a nice phone to get?Absolutely! It's definitely worth 300€... ...build quality is top notch, really nice AMOLED screen and audio quality is brilliant (especially when using headphones). If you find it in the pricerange of 200-300€, i'd say go for it!
after 3 weeks, the thing that really concerns me about this phone (as an htc fan) is none of all these comments, but it is I feel this phone missing some "htc-DNA", I don't know how to spell it but htc fans will get me.
The absence of calendar's and peoples' widgets together with the absence of the authentic htc music player....etc
Also the amoled display, it is for sure the best, but makes me feel I am holding a Samsung (with all respect to Samsung) and believe or not I switched the colour temperature from amoled to standard RGB !!!
the absence of the system tuner which forbids me from editing the quick settings to bring the screenshot tab on the quick setting....etc
many things, I don't know how to express myself, but I feel this is not an htc phone!!
however, camera and battery are very good and of course the performance and design,,..
I have also the desire 628 that the company brought me and I got my youngest son a desire 526g+..... believe it or not, the one A9 is of course the highest, but when I touch the 628 or the 526g+ I feel I miss a true htc !!!!!
I just got the Android 7.0 update on my unlocked One A9 here in Canada.
AnonD-636011, 21 Jan 2017 Does anyone know the modern price of this phone??Well, i bought it for 299€ here in Finland but it really depends on where you live :) But in a nutshell, price is about half nowadays what it was on launch.
AnonD-366467, 24 Dec 2016The phone will last upto 22 hours, but ON Screen time is just 4-5 hours. But But But its a ver... moreI cannot find words to thank you, i followed your tips of batter saving and the results were very good, thanks sweetie!
The thing that distinguish this phone is that it is a joy to hold it, it feels so nice in hand
The camera and sound are also amazing
The display is wonderful
The battery thing is real, without the battery saving mode and htc boost+ u cannot bear how fast the battery drains
But i still love it and it is my default mobile
But in days when i know i will be away of the charger, i switch to xperia z3(the best handset made in mobile history in my opinion)
The thing about the a9 is that it is the single most ergonomic and handy mobile for an htc fan like me
AnonD-633833, 16 Jan 2017Does any one get VoLTE in htc one a9?Nope, it's come with LTE (Supports 4G Data). So no VOLTE support. If you planning to use JIO sim then you can use JIO Voice app for calls. Note: Required mobile data to be on for calling or messaging.
Tipounet, 09 Jan 2017After 7 months of daily usage, this phone is still in perfect condition. The battery is still ... moreYou can just get cyangenmod and download the CM-14 (Google 7.1.1) and plus the gapps and then you don't have to wait for the release of nogate just go to www.cyangenmod.org and find your model and download CM-14 and also download the Gapps too.
Mira, 07 Jan 2017No it is not 3.0
The charger in the box is TC P900-EU Output: 1.5 Ampera Input: 100-240V=200... moreIt doesn't come with the QuickCharge 3 Charger, however it is compatible if you get one:
HTC's own specs state that while it is QC 2 out of the box software updates make it QC 3
After 7 months of daily usage, this phone is still in perfect condition. The battery is still good and full charge takes only about an hour and half (without quick charge). Great Amoled screen quality and the sound experience is amazing. I'm waiting its Android 7.0 Nougat update.
I am not sure if the this A9 will work long for me.. but this is the best phone I've ever owned
if you are not a gamer on smartfone, grab this one, superb in design & function... really really fast
- AMOLED screen is super clear, not as too vivid as Samsung
- No Boomsound, but the speaker is better than 6s
- Beautiful design, lightweight. The polished edges make the phone stand out of the crowd
- Sound is king
- One touch Fingerprint is king
- Battery is really good
- Camera is good
