You should wait, as there are rumors of HTC M9 Plus, is this company going to get things right? or is this another crap shoot?
Got mine at the HTC event Monday night. SD card support up to 200 Gig. Smooth and fast multi tasker so far. Definitely impressed.
The only real issues with the m9 are the subpar camera (no optical image stabilization) and battery life (the M8 performed exceptionally well). The camera although better, still not able to compete due to a lack of OIS (not enough physical space according to HTC). But the battery, this is where this phone should been strong, but it's only average. People talk about how HTC still has the same screen from last year or that it doesn't have a quad hd screen (2k screen). The Apple iPhone 6 Plus is Apple's first 1080p screen. For a few years now their screen resolution has been 720p. The iPhone 6 has a 720p screen. And there really isn't a need for a quad hd screen, especially on a five inch phone. It will only deplete your battery.

HTC have got to be kidding with the M9. Same screen as M7, mid range phones have FHD 441ppi screens nowadays. No OIS on camera, again! No IPXX rating, again!
In about 2 years, I'm going to be telling people how I used to buy HTC phones before they went bust, how HTC used to make the make the best phones, back when they had a clue what their customers wanted.
