Smartphone Fan, 23 Dec 2014Only 2800 Mah ... come onCome on you if you only think about numbers. HTC Desire proved that OS efficiency matters more than mAh number. And Lollipop + Snapdragon already uses less power. So it will be a great battery, as M8 already is.
Shanti, 23 Dec 2014Not sure if this is a stupid question, but will the M9 have stock Android installed? The original M9 no. But you can always root and install it. Or depending on your region, buy the Google Play Edition
marshallrandy, 23 Dec 2014lol 5 inch & quad core with a 2840 mah battery....??? xDits actually octacore XD
According to me all these companies like Samsung ,HTC, apple, Sony are just thinking of profit nothing else ,they charge almost triple they spend on making their smart phones. But there are some companies who think of consumers also like xiaomi . there profit margin is literally meagure but their smart phones are much better than so called flagships like s6 etc. Their os is so innovative miui a lot better than shitty apple . their quality is also premium a lot lot better than shitty Samsung. I have been using xiaomi mi3 for the 6th month running and my experience is tremendous, I can't think of buying any other brand from now but xiaomi. I have used shiity s4 for 1 year whose experience I do not want to think again . I have used z1 its better than Samsung but xiaomi is a company all u guyz should take a look at. These innovative companies should also be given chance guyz they are worth the attention. According to me the best 2015 flagship is undoubtedly mi5 and I am pretty sure the cost of this smartphone will be just as any 2012 flagship of those just profit making companies
Shanti, 23 Dec 2014Not sure if this is a stupid question, but will the M9 have stock Android installed? You're right shanti, that is a stupid question. HTC Sense 7.0 is not stock android.
Shanti, 23 Dec 2014Not sure if this is a stupid question, but will the M9 have stock Android installed? nope..it will have htc customised os with sense 6.0 UI....but it could have a GPE in coming future...
The picture on here is not the M9. Some of these stats are way off.
The design is a lot more curvy also the boom speakers are integrated on to the top and bottom of the screen. The screen is 5.2". 18mega pixel duel camera with a 20.7mega pixel sensor. 4up front facing. Hardware specs seem correct. The M9 is smaller than the M8 with a bigger screen. Its still in testing they have been known to change their mind on design late on but these are as close to the final model that i can let out. There's a few good surprises. Over the next 6 weeks you'll get to know everything about the M9. As for sense 7 that holds the key but won't find any leaks as the testing devices are using 4.4.4 s6. If you can check my history out, I also listed the M8 specs earlier this year. I've got nothing to prove anyway, the proof will unfold in the next 6 weeks.
Shanti, 23 Dec 2014Not sure if this is a stupid question, but will the M9 have stock Android installed? Not a bad question at all - but has quite a simple answer: no.
It will run HTC Sense 7 on top of lollipop, HTC Sense is HTC's set of customizations. So it's not stock Android.
Guy Hero, 23 Dec 2014WTF man, your eyes can literally only see 300 ppi, unless you hold your phone an inch from you... moreYou did ignore the new 3d imaging trend that requires double amount of pixels. A screen with the resolution of 1080p wont be suitable for u if you are an avid fan of 3-dimensional movies and games. If you are not, then M9 will be a appropriate choise for you provided you can tolerate it's thickness that is 2mm ticker than other flagships.
nicky, 23 Dec 2014sorry HTC, 441ppi doesnt cut it in 2015.WTF man, your eyes can literally only see 300 ppi, unless you hold your phone an inch from your head, 1080p is good enough for my 55 inch tv and it sure as hell is more than enough for a 5 inch phone.
battery drainage will be strong with all this power under the hood
i love m8 and buy m9 but i like if have bigger than 5 inch display and more pixels for it .....
but if this is m9 so this is my next phone
i hope they got rid of those shitty(in my opinion)back/home/running apps buttons in the screen and instead of that use the traditional ones(like the original htc one and ...)
they say putting them on the screen costs less but my old htc wildfire had those traditional buttons
Shanti, 23 Dec 2014Not sure if this is a stupid question, but will the M9 have stock Android installed? no not as first .. later on tere defo will be google edtitions ..
ihave the original htc one (or m7)with 469ppi
i`m sure that is not a good idea to improve the ppi because the pictures you see in other cheaper phones are bigger than what you see in a device with high ppi
and in the htc default gallery you cant zoom either
