Everybody complains about HTC M9 that it gets too hot, and that's true. However it's good that it gets hot because when my stove wasn't working, and I couldn't make my breakfast, I was able to fry an egg on my HTC M9 phone. LOL
What does it take HTC because of these complaints that it gets hot, to update the battery to last longer and not get hot. I hope this note opens HTC's eyes and make the costumers including me happy. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
andredandy, 23 Dec 2015the battery is very very very sucks..Battery wise is a disaster, i don't understand how to approve releasing such device with such ugly battery.
For me it is an excellent phone, plus all depends on the tastes and the use made of the team but I find this very well designed 9/10
Amiable, 21 Dec 2015I bought a HTC M9 phone in a shopping centre in Abuja less than a month i had an accident and ... moreI would see if you can get one from the m8 as they both use the same display I'm pretty sure they are the same size. Just an idea hope it helps.
I upgraded it to 5.1 and heat issue looks like it got increased.
I bought a HTC M9 phone in a shopping centre in Abuja less than a month i had an accident and the outer glass(screen) got broken while the inner screen no longer show light. I have search everywhere in Abuja to replace the inner screen but i can't find the part. The outer screen is available but the inner screen is not.Why.I can't afford to throw that phone away please help.
Just bought one for SR1300 ($340) which is a great price for what you get. Use it with my class 10 SD card and becomes a portable media player. Pretty good camera (as long as you don't expect miracles), fast, sleek and great fit in the hand.
After latest updates both heat and camera have been improved. Great phone that will serve many people well for a while.
unnikrishnan, 06 Dec 2015There is only 32 GB version, can extend up to 128 GB using sd cardI have HTC One M9 64GB, and it's fantastic phone.
Does the mobile have dual membrane microphones?. I went to a concert the other day and the audio was terrible. The video was ok tho.
ive had ZERO issues with my M9 and i got it launch date here in the US. The phone does tend to get a little hot but nothing overly dramatic. Switching from samsung i can honestly say i prefer sense over touchwiz 100%. Battery life is amazing and the extreme power saver comes in clutch when needed. if i had to name a con about this phone it would be the rear camera. Its not bad, but lowlight conditions seem to fuzz a little. front camera A+ quality. Hopefully the next HTC M series phone is as great.
AnonD-475878, 13 Dec 2015 Improper charging, Vibration not working - vibration motor issue, too much heat. And Support a... moreI've sent my phone out three times now for repair. I've had consistent charging and battery life issues as well as application processing problems. I love the phone when it actually works! The camera is amazing and coming from using an iPhone, I love the apps that are available to me using an android phone, which are considerably more. This being said, this means nothing when the phone won't turn on half the time, and refuses to charge, or when it charges, overheats and doesn't function properly or dies in an hour. I'm incredibly disappointed. It also sucks having to deal with a third party. With an iPhone I could get it repaired or replaced (which tended to be the case with no questions asked) at any apple store or any place that sold apple products. With HTC I have to send my phone out to HTC and have someone fix it. I couldn't even give it to a local mobile phone 'fixer' as HTC is a solid device which means that it can't be taken apart unless it goes to head office (no second battery for those that have themÂ…can't open the phone to put it in). I appreciate the phone and think it functions better than an iPhone when it actually works, but there are a lot of kinks to work out! If you are someone that feels like they're going to be in a situation where they need to call 911, don't get this phone! You've got a 20% chance it will actually turn on. That being said, after the third time of it being defective my provider will now give me another phone for free (finally). I will be going back to iPhone.
