And yes when I used the HTC style recent apps for multitasking, it did lag when I swiped the cards away. So I used the Google card view. A couple of days ago I received the update for 5.1 and now I have no lag when I use the HTC multitask menu. I'm happy with that because I like that menu a lot better with 3 by 3 miniature cards. I can just swipe them away smoothly now.

I have it for 2 weeks now and no issues at all. The screen is nice and bright, battery life is good (5 hours on-screen time), it's super fast and snappy without any lag. I have no heating issues at all, sometimes a little bit warm when I play games, but it's acceptable. The camera is good enough, but in low light the front cam (ultrapixel) is better than the main camera. So I just turn around the phone in low light and take the picture haha. I really like the Sense interface, Blinkfeed and Boomsound. It gives the phone it's own unique personality. The design is beautiful and it feels great in the hand and not slippery at all. My girlfriend has the S6 and that's a great phone too and I've played with that a lot, but the RAM management is really bad on that phone. With my M9 the multitasking is much MUCH better. This phone is really great!
I live in India and htc have not launched the m9 here . Instead they launched the m9+ which i dont like . Now i want to buy a m9 and it is only available in eBay india. I wanted to know that will this mobile work on Indian carriers ? Thnx in advance.
1st i want to say the m9 is a gorgeous device. i have a problem that i don't if anyone have it or not my m9 got it about 2 days ago and today there is a update to 5.1. before install this update my device was snap and fast without getting any lag ever, but now after installing the update the device have a bad lag when opening the multitasking and a lag when remove the recent apps that u have opened. of course this thing is sucks. i want to know if someone have this problem also or not, if have it and fixed this issue, please tell me how did u fixed it.
1st at all i have got this device about 2 days and the device was working perfect without no lag ever but the battery was draining fast but today there is a update for it it's Android 5.1. after i have downloaded it the batter was better but the phone have a lag when using multitasking and remove recent apps. i want to know if someone have this same issue or not and if he has it and fixed please tell me what did u do to fix it.
I bought it 2 weeks ago.The first one had a "broken" G-Sensor.and the Store where i bought it Replaced whith another one.I'ts perfect. The camera is not like the S6's bukt is good. The battery life is not so long if you use with 3G/4G but is enought.I test the 4G speed with Galaxy S6 and the M9 gets more Mbps.It never laggs or anything like that. This is what I ecpected,i watched a lot of comparisons.I'm satisfied.Based on the phones i had,-maybe the Galaxy works faster now,but after some time the Samsungs start to lag...HTC will work like in the day you bought it.Go for HTC!You will not be dissapointed!!Sorry for my English.
M9 horrible phone. When I reboot my phone, the battery drop like half of it. The battery drain so fast and doesnt last long. The phone overheats
Guys, A9 is just a mid ranged ph. so i think M9 is better of course. But in those mid range, A9 will rock. :)

Can't speak personally for the Z3 but I did have a Z2 which shares very similar specs. In my honest opinion, my Z2 got hotter playing games and/or intensive use than my M9 which is shocking. The only time my M9 gets truly hot is if using it for gaming/streaming and charging it at the same time.
Battery on the Z3 I think will be better but the M9's isn't bad either, camera I prefer the M9's especially the front. Audio is stronger on the M9 in terms of volume and quality. Overall performance in the UI is similar but the M9 is still stronger due to the faster chipset (even with throttling). Gaming, the M9 is considerably better due to the Adreno 430 (vs the 330 in the Z3). Finally, The Z3 looks nice but the back glass makes it far too slippery while the M9 feels more natural with the curve in the hand.
Of course this is subjective to personal opinion but considering hardware wise the M9 is superior in most ways yet costs about the same as the Z3 it's fairly obvious which is better...besides after living with flaps on the Z2 the freedom of not having it on my M9 (and other phones obviously) is great lol.
Please help; i want to upgrade, thinking of the M9 and the Z3 but i only fear of the M9 so please help me with some info. About it after the latest update, camera and battery are in concern, thank you.
I've being a HTC fan since April 2014 and still I feel as I'm using the best and Ideal phone for my basic needs. Love it very much, Design, performance, Display, Sound quality, everything still outstanding and the best thing its hardy usable. but there were couple of issues as usually every smart phone user face in to... It drains battery bit fast and wouldn't be satisfy of the camera quality at all. Still I don't know why it came with such a low qualify camera, The thing is I'd have only experienced on HTC One M7 and few days ago my phone felt down about 20ft of a height and crashed, Now I'm looking to buy a new phone. I've two choices that are M9+ and GALAXY S6 EDGE. I went through Youtube, GSMarena before make a choice but still I'm confusing that 9 out of 10 are bad feedbacks about M9+ in all websites. Still I can't believe according to my experience of HTC comparing with other android devices. Please help me out to make a decent choice, I'm hope if you would kind enough to be honest and advice me, as well as I need advice from someone who has clear idea about what I'm expecting. Thanks.
