Anonymous, 06 Sep 2014I only asked if there is any 3rd party camera app better than the stock camera in general pic... moreDifferent cameras are good at different things and some are the same or worse at some things. That's why I asked what you want to improve in your pictures?
Exposure, focus, auto focus, resolution, hue? Which do you want to improve
Anthony, 06 Sep 2014I'm curious, what exactly do you want to improve in the pictures you take?I only asked if there is any 3rd party camera app better than the stock camera in general picture quality I didn't ask for the best settings for the stock camera.

AnonD-302414, 05 Sep 2014thanx anthony..i want to buy this one or m7,which will you recommend?I will tell you why I went with the Max over the M7 and you can decide for yourself.
I wanted the bigger screen
The bigger battery
The removable storage.
And the louder speaks.
The finger print scanner didnít matter to me but now I have grown to love it.
I have a ridiculously long alphanumeric password and no one even tried to finger it out because I only use the finger swipe to unlock the phone hahahahaaaa.
Can anyone suggest me a third party camera app that can take better quality photos than the stock camera?
AnonD-302414, 05 Sep 2014is there the pink tint issue with the camera in this device like the htc one?No the HTC one MAX doesn't have the pink problem..
Btw that pink tint issue was a problem with some of the camera chips. So only some of the M7 phones was affected by it.there are 2 co-workers in my office with M7. The guy with the Hong Kong model has the problem, but the guy with the AT&T model don't.
is there the pink tint issue with the camera in this device like the htc one?
Vikram, 04 Sep 2014Wifi direct is a feature for only same brand phones, u can use sony to sony or htc to htc..but... morethanks for the explanation that doesn't sound crazy like the ones i was getting form HTC help(online). I was thinking it was a standardised format, like how bluetooth is.
seeing that the mass majority of Android phone owners where i am are Samsung users, i never faced the problem till i switched to HTC.
thanks again for the heads up.
Wifi direct is a feature for only same brand phones, u can use sony to sony or htc to htc..but you have option to download SUPERBEAM app on all android phone and transfer data from one to another at 40mbps transfer which is double than wifi direct..hope IT HELPS
ElFuegoHumano, 02 Sep 2014Anthony, can you please help me on my WiFi Direct with my One max? My friend was trying to sen... moreI have been complaining about this issue to HTC online technical assistance from the very first week I got this phone. And have been getting the most ridiculous replies. One rep even tried to tell me that wifi direct is a special internet service that my service provider must support. When I told him how it worked on my old SIII he reminded me that they are not Samsung. I felt like the Tec support are not properly trained in mobile tec or Iím going crazy and invented a data transfer slandered that no one knew about.
They gave me the same response when I suggested that they put a file manager in the ROM to solve the 4.4.2 restriction issue. But now itís reported to be coming in the newer ROMs.
So get enough people to complain about the wifi direct issue to HTC help/support desk (on-line) and explain how it works on other phones, and they will be forced to fix it just as they are adding the file manager now..
But for now I use a USB OTG cable and a flash drive or an app called (Send Anywhere) by Estmob inc. and a wifi network, if I need to share large files.
Anthony, can you please help me on my WiFi Direct with my One max? My friend was trying to send me a movie via WiFi Direct from his Galaxy Tab Pro, however, our devices are just "connected" but that's just it. He can't send the file to me. Whereas he sent the same movie to a friend's Galaxy Note 8 via WiFi Direct. Is it a compatibility issue? Thank you in advance for your assistance, Anthony!
