to understand why you need to do both if you didn't to the cache partition wipe first.
Anonymous, 15 Jun 2014So should I just do a factory reset now since I don't know how to do cache partitioning? The reset alone is not enough. Old drivers from 4.4.2 is still in your cache partition.
Why can't you follow the instructions on the post I gave you the date for?
What step you don't understand?
[deleted post]I also have the same problem at times were the battery will discharge from 100% to about 96% immediately I unplug charger. But it's not big issue for me. However. I use snapdragon battery guru and also du battery saver combined. Generally my battery is okay.

Anonymous, 15 Jun 2014Yes I choosed always on and not 5 or 10 minutes in advance settings Ok.
The instructions to wipe the cache partition and do a factory reset is in my post time stamped 2014-03-09 14:10
You have to do both as you didn't do the cache partition wipe before the ROM update.
and when you are done, turn back on fast boot.

Anthony, 14 Jun 2014Don't forget to turn fast boot back on after you have completed everythingYes, i already turned back on the fastboot, thanks for the reminder. And guess what, you will love the sense 6 on one max! There is a extreme power saving mode too. Unfortunately some notable gesture features of the sense 6 on the m8 are not included on our update. I love that they allow us to change the system font and i already install a tons of available in playstore. Hehe.. the flat design looks of the new sense is very welcoming in the eyes. The blink feed is great but i wish they stick to freeze the clock and the weather there when scrolling the news feeds. There is no addtional filemanager however. I love the fact that you can get to update the blink feed, gallery and sense tv through the playstore in the sense 6.
All in all, everything is awesome in the sense 6. The look and feel are a big jump from sense 5.5.
Anonymous, 14 Jun 2014I thought I get it but it still turned off Try this and let me know if it works.
2 finger swipe into quick settings>turn on WiFi hotspot>tap the 3 dots by the switch(it should take you to settings)>
Tap the 3 dots in there (top right corner)>tap ADVANCED>tap power mode and set to always on.
Anonymous, 14 Jun 2014I thought I get it but it still turned off Maybe your PC is not continuously using the connection like Netflix would. So it's going off after the default power time of 10min has past.
Going to drive now, will post how to turn that off when I stop again.
Anonymous, 14 Jun 2014I don't even switch on power saving mode but hotspot still switch off on it's own I know it's not a problem with the ROM because my daughter tablet has no connection problems with this phone.
So you have to try and find out what is turning it off on your phone.
What apps do you have installed?
Did you ever do a ROM update?
if so, did you clear the cache partition first?

for the problem you are having you need to turn off power saver mode or if you want to leave it on, go into its setting and uncheck data connection.
because it putting your data connection to sleep when your screen goes off.
