Ankit Sharma , 27 Aug 2015Pleeeeeeease guys... post a review of this phone... Posted a review from my 10 days usage with this phone. Hope this helps you.
I have purchased it from retailer and got it for 36K on 18 Aug 2015 with VAT bill. Have used it for about a week now and I must say this is very good handset at this price range. Following is my feedback which might help you.
01] 32 GB internal will give you enough space to install huge games and many apps (I have installed around 10 GB of high end games
02] 3GB RAM will give you buttery smooth performance
03] 20 MP rear cam is superb and gives you clear normal/bokeh/photobooth images and 4K/slow mo/fast forward video
04] 2K 565ppi display is crystal clear and have 178 degree viewing angle (All in one tool box shows 640ppi)
05] Very responsive finger print sensor which lets you add 5 fingers
06] UltraPixel front cam for wide angel, low light support selfie
07] HTC Boom Sound speakers with HD audio play back (Note: they are not very loud but loud and clear enough to enjoy)
08] 4G on one sim and 2G on other which lets you use high speed internet with less battery drain
09] Poly-carbonate back gives you less heat feeling and rich look
10] Dual Nano SIM and 2TB external storage support, what else you need?
11] Features like, auto answer when directly held over ear, flip to mute, louder in pocket, goes to lower ring when picked up are added bonus feature
12] HTC Sense 7 with blink feed is good experience and launcher is smooth and lite
13] Many inbuilt apps to have as added advantage for photo and video editing but no bloatware
14] Octa core 2.2 GHz helio x10 processor for fast and responsive multi tasking
15] PowerVR G6200 GPU lets you run any game you throw at it with no lag (depends on number of background app you run i have around 10-15 background apps running always)
16] In ear headsets are just superb and very very loud and clear!
17] Extreme Power Saver will help you to last for a day with only 5% batter!
18] NFC support let me use my Jabra ROX and JBL Pulse NFC features to just tap and connect!
19] IR remote sensor lets you use your mobile to operate set up box, TV etc. Tried it with my Sony Bravia smart TV. Didn't worked with Panasonic AC though.
01] Battery back is not up to the mark, battery drains in 5 Hrs video play back at auto brightness and with headsets. On normal usage, continuous WiFi enabled, 30 min calls, 30 min audio and 30 min video play back, battery can last for a day.
02] Older version of lollipop 5.0.2, we need updated 5.1.1 with more smoother animations and yes update to M.
03] In pitch dark you can not have selfie so lack of front flash
04] 4K video length is max 6 min.
05] USB cable supplied is short and no extra accessory except headsets and a pair of extra nano sim slot, in case if you loose original one.
06] No fast charge but battery gets charged from 0 to 100 within 2 hrs approx
07] USB 2.0, no new flat USB cable which is better one
I hope this help you.
do you know if this HTC supports MirrorLink?
anonymous, 25 Aug 2015O.K. but samsung testing sd 820 intensively for s7 and they will use in it as rumours saying..... moreIf samsung ,htc or any other company will use SD 820 no dought the price will be 50k or above.and we should keep one thing in our mind, companies like htc ,firstly they test their device then they raleased in market.as we know htc raleased three handset last month of high end secification i.e.E9+,ONE ME and M9+.all three hasthe same processor ,GPU and almost same specs ,like 3gb ram,32gb internal ,2k screen and 20MP camera .so if meditek helio x10 which promising the support of 2TB expandable memory gets fail to perform their task its mean no body will trust on htc in future .bcz these compnies known as their quality products then why we will go to htc by spending lots of money on it.there are another lots of chinese company like Xiaomi thats providing better smartphone at half of price than samsung and htc.
AnonD-215984, 25 Aug 2015Pl tell me if FM radio app of htc one me is actually functionalYes radio works fine
I have been waiting like forever to get htc one me in Nigeria.seems is not for Africa
O.K. but samsung testing sd 820 intensively for s7 and they will use in it as rumours saying.... Mediatek doesn't optimise well their chipsets... And i think helio x 20 will be monster for htc hima aero but above 30 k is not well for mediatek... They are still behind snapdragon....
Latest news about a smartphone will raleased soon powered with snapdragon 820 and from htc ,model named as htc o2 hero .still only specs leaked i.e.wQhd 6 inch 2k screen .4 gb ram ,snapdragon 820 quad core processor and adreno 530 gpu .phones will comes with 64 and 128 gb internal storAge.boombass speakers.20MP rear and 5 MP front facing camera will be thr.3500mah battery.so lets see when the phone will raleased .
me and my bro bought M9+ and ME and both are happy.there is no lag or bug in any games. for sure m9+ and me are one of the best.don't listen to many crazy opinion whom like to spoil htc. i say again after 1week both htc one m9+ and one me are great and amazing. just buy them and nothing
anonymous, 24 Aug 2015Due to mediatek its not 40k or 35k device 30k is O.K. Snapdragons are better than mediatek in ... moreLol...we all know snapdragon was good in performance, tasking and every things.but due to the heating problem of snapdragon 808 and 810 now nobody wanna to go with snapdragon and 810 heats up beyond the limit that force the user to swith off his device.for example htc m9 and one m8 also starts gets hot after getting lollipop update and heat was beyond the limit.what happened with google nexus six?..check the review...everybody crying bcz handset heats up too much.till the date samsung's Exynos 7420 is at the top ,mediatek helio x10 at second and snapdragon 810 at third position.i too love snapdragon and i was also disspoint while purchased htc one me bcz of mediatek .ok we can wait for snapdragon 820 ,hope they have resolved the all issues in 820.so w8 until any smartphone powered with snapdragon 820 has not been released in market
Due to mediatek its not 40k or 35k device 30k is O.K. Snapdragons are better than mediatek in every department. While single core performance is important in smartphones... SD's are best in single core performance, image processing, network band supports, gpu department and in every aspects... They are best in class.... In performance they are far better than mediatek... So choose it wisely.... Performance of m9 is way better than one me and m9plus.... Give quality mediatek then customers will give you money with satisfaction....
ritika, 24 Aug 2015can you please say about gaming performance of HTC one me. does this mobile lags while playing... moreRitika ji GPU used in htc one me is power vr G6200 which is slightly weaker than adreno 330.but tx for mediatek helio x10 2.2ghz 8 core processor which makes the GPU's performance very smooth.i played high graphics games like asphalt 8,fifa 15 ,frontline commondow, real racing 3 and some low memory games like subway surfer, temple run oz ,traffic racer and hill climb racing but have not seen any big lags .thr are very very minor lags in some games bit not too much.i have not seen any single lags in asphalt 8 and fifa 15 .if we talk about heat problem then i clarify here htc one me not heated unlike htc m9 or htc one m8 that was powered by snapdragpn 808 or 810.again tx for mediatek helio x10 processor that never heats up even while playing high graphics games and makes the phone performance very very smooth.so dont be worry about heating prblm of htc one me.thr are very very slightly heating issue on 3g or 4g or wifi .all over i love the handset .
