Despite having higher resolution the m8 and m9's display is less accurate than iphone 6.so i think htc needs a new display technology.

i think this peoples are other brand staffs to avoid selling perspective., it is also tool to migrate from htc to some other chinese phones am right.. htc is the only phones which creates and makes innovative products., it is always mature innovative techniques rather than others, kindly dont blame if you dont use any of the products and any of the brands bro....

From design stand point which applicable to all HTC phones after One M7 the idea of moving sensor buttons 1 row above HTC logo was not very good solution. It is clear that manufacturer decided to use the three buttons on the row but HTC logo could be used as a Home button instead and that would have eliminate losing screen area or phone size increase.

I had phones with Mediatek chip: Meizu, Alcatel. Both run smoothly.

So if you had a bad experience with your specific smartphone - do not put this problem on shoulders of Mediatek.

To all those boys and girls talking about performance and overheating issues on M9 series - the s810 does go warm, and the phone can at occasions (charging while using some of the most power hungry apps) but it never ever gets hot - just warm - and I am using this device for 2 months now.

Non of overheating at all on other chip-sets as above m x10.

Also same complaints about camera just make me laugh - at start yes - but after a week of phone coming out software was update and recently again - quality and details specially in RAW format is just the best on the phone I had the pleasure to try (apart of L1020)

Build Quality out of this planet and better than all other manufacturers apart of luxury products like vertu.

Also best android system integration (Motorola is doing really well too) much much better than any samy or sony.

The only thing is that I'm hoping for a bigger device (5.5-6 inch) and hopefully with either Nv X1 or s820 this autumn - good luck to this financially troubled manufacturer and thank you for creating such a ground breaking and reliable great devices

HTC started it all and almost everybody follow suit with the metal unibody finish and I think the mobile manufacturing industry should give credit to HTC. Everything is a matter of preference.

Here the two grils on the bottom bezel and single grill to the corner on the top bezel will make the sound unbalanced since for good experience you need to have same sized ports on your left and right also this is an odd and wierd design for any stereo speakers. No other company would have come with such an awful design.Htc M7 and One Max had same sized speakers. Which made them the best looking phones of htc ever as well as one of the best sounding phones of htc.

AnonD-374579, 12 Jun 2015For those who are saying m8 and m9 are not symmetrical due to the bezel sizes, I ask them one ... moreIt's not the bezels,The asymmetrical speaker grills are the ones that make htc dual speaker phones ugly. The top speaker grill is almost to one corner while the bottom one is larger in M8 and M9,though it is perfectly centered on the bezel. In htc One Me and M9 plus as you can see the single grill to the corner on the top and the small two grills on the bottom and the fingerprint sensor is a mismatch in terms of aesthetics. Also the sound out put level may not be balanced well because of the difference in the grill sizes despite the adjustments in the sound chip. Htc M7 and One Max were the best looking dual speaker phones of htc as they they had equal sized speaker grills that were centered on the top and bottom bezels. The only flaw was that the bottom bezel with that htc logo was a little larger than top bezel where it lost symmetry. It looks like htc couldn't follow that pattern in their latest phones beacause of space limitations in circuit boards. Samsung devices cannot be compared as they are uglier than htc phones
