I'd like to have this phone but the price us a big joke! In Philippines xperia z1 is priced 29k at official Sony store while onemini is 27k on official HTC store. It's just too expensive, but I really want to have it. Now I'm going for s4 mini or xperia TX.
Overall it's a typical touchscreen.
That is it is pretty but not very good as a comms device, better than the eyephone in some areas but still just a touchscreen.
I was hoping to be converted but I need a communication device not a pretty picture toy so after 4 months I am back to my blackberry bold.
Btw mine cracked on the white plastic strip as well and HTC replaced it

I told them that there should be dents in the corners if i dropped it. No brainer right? When they called the service center the guy imidiately said "oh he probably dropped it" without even seeing the phone yet. This is my first htc and i regret buying this. Shouldnt have sold my iphone 5 for this crap. I would think twice if i were you...

But sadly one of those hairline cracks appeared near the volume buttons, where the plastic frame is slimmer, so it turned into a full crack. The phone is in service right now, they refused to replace it, and instead wish to repair it. It appears that many users are having this problem, with the plastic frame cracking. This is certainly one thing to research before buying this phone.

alice, 02 Dec 2013the htc one mini is better than the galaxy s4 mini ?galaxy s4
I was in the same dilemma but decided to go with the mini after reading lots of reviews and testing both devices. P6 has good looks and hardware on paper. However the software isn't optimized and the hardware isn't efficient in reality and a lot of developers have not been interested in testing compatibility with huwaei home baked hardware. In addition to issues with its touchscreen and lack of guranteed future as software updates and development
My friend just got the htc one mini. Great phone. i'd say as fast as the s4 and the ultrapixel camera is excellent and very clear. I'd say a great phone in general. downside no external memory. Hope that helps.
