i have one and it seem not working again after i charged and i was pressing it. The phone trep of and when i charge it hot like an iron. Pls is there any suggestion.

I bought this phone on March 07/2013, and it's still going strong today. I've never had an issue with it, never replaced the battery, or any parts. I've taken thousands of pictures with it, dropped it many times, drove over it once while camping, lost it twice and had it returned, I've been through a few protective cases, and I still love this phone. I love the Beats Audio on it and no phone I've found has ever come close to such great music quality from a smart phone. I've tried other brands of phones, supposedly much better, but I keep coming back to my HTC One S, cuz Beats is the best! I'm thinking of buying up a few used ones that work because I know I'll never find a newer phone that will match the audio quality. I even tried the Alcatel Idol 3 with the JBL sound system, it's great, but Beats is better. Apple claims to have great sound, it's great, but Beats is better. My music is important to me, great pix are important to me, and a reliable phone is important to me. The HTC One S meets all my requirements. If it ain't broke, no point in replacing it!

Tap "clean junk" and it deletes unnecessary stuff on your phone and yea it really works! Every time my storage is full I just do it with this app and get 500mb-1Gb more memory. It doesnt delete like photos or messages, only Junk,trust me. I ve been using this app for years and its perfect

There is no official release of cm13 for HTC One S on the cyanogen mod site.
So I would like to see step by step instructions starting from rooting this device ( i think it is necessary).

Make /system, /cache and /data f2fs and you'll have a fully working phone again.
Trust me, it's worth it.

I liked the phone when I initially got it...but its storage and age became appartent. T-mobile has warrantied me out of this phone 9 times! I am now getting another HTC, it was good at first. But if you are limited on apps and storage, the phone becomes slow and dated (which it actually is now). Took great pics but other phones have caught up. If you get one...do not get a refurbished version. If you do not use your phone much and store a lot of music and apps...you should fine .

For everyone complaining about the old android version: flash a 5.1.1 or 6.0 ROM on it and it will work like on first day because these newer versions are less power hungry

Have one of the original Solavei manager phones. Still works great. No problems at all. No LTE but I really don't miss that.

Anonymous, 26 May 2016Ever since i last updated my phone (2014 or 2015) i don't have enough storage. i have like 10... moreI have done a backup to contacts, apps, messages, and other datas from storage, and then performed a factory reset. After that all storage info worked as proper. Hope will work for you!

since i start using HTC One S phone i never think of buying any other ype of phone because all that i need is with it. it is very portable, smart and the battery last long. the only thing that discourages me is that, it never showed me any signs of problem till it just goes off with 80% battery charge and that is hw it ended up to date without powering again neither accepting USB connection to the computer. so i will be very pleased if i could know the exact problem of it whether it is the engine or the battery. so please help me with the relevant information about its problem.

I have this phone, if you have storage problems, I suggest you back up your contacts via google gmail or smth and then do a factory reset. Also makes the phone someone faster again.
