haii, 30 Nov 2012Unfortunately you're wrong. It's a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core 1.5GHz KraitWell i will like to bring to your notice that some of the countries in Asia are getting the striped down version of the processor that is the S3 processor overclocked to 1.7 Ghz just to use it as a bait for the fish.

Jack2125, 29 Nov 2012Freom where i can buy htc one s with 1.5ghz S4 processor in india...??
Pls suggestI doubt u can buy s4 in India.

unicorn, 30 Nov 2012Hi.You said that You Own Both One S and One X.
I want to buy One of them,Are they Good Phones... moreDude
I personally think One S is better.
it has 8gigs of space and thats quite good man , u are carrying a cellphone not a hard disk.
I have some couple of high end games on ma cell like nfs and Street Fight apart from that some 4movies and 2-3 gis of images music etc.
But i will suggest you to go for the european version with S4 processor cos the battery life is far better in that.
Moreover if the new edition of One S is launched in India that will be much better cos it has 64gigs of space along with s4 processor.
My suggestion definitely One S :
Good battery back up as compared to One X
Super Amoled screen good for gaming
Did I mentioned beats :)
It lacks only one thing thats NFC :(
Check the back of the box. If the model is Z560e, you got the S3.
If the model is Z520e, you got the better S4.
I bought this phone yesterday and i have some questions:
first, how can I tell if I have the one with the s4 chipset or the one with s3?
second,I really like htc's clock widgets but they are shown kinda strange on my phone.for example only white numbers are shown on the clock which has 3 black circles.what causes this?

On paper, one of the best phones around. In reality, another crock of HTC SH1T. Buyer beware - you may end up with a One S with an older and more power hungry S3 chipset instead of the advertised S4 chipset. Adding to what has become typical to HTC's way of doing business, as in passing off one thing as something else, is what is becoming known as the "infamous "home" button defect" and the One S "locking" up when local RF signal drops below certain thresholds. HTC can't seemed to be bothered to fix any of this up. So aside from all this, enjoy your wait for the next Android update. Who knows, it may take as long as the one once promised for the Desire S. Still waiting for that one. HTC - once an OEM, always an OEM.
Joe, 22 Nov 2012http://www.htc.com/in/smartphones/htc-one-s/#specs processor is 1.7Ghz dual core. Unfortunately you're wrong. It's a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core 1.5GHz Krait
Sophia, 25 Nov 2012After much consideration, I finally decided to buy HTC One S. I bought it about 5 days ago. I ... moreLoL its a qHD display. And try a hard reset. Before you get too much into the phone. A factory reset will fix the problem. If not. You always have fourteen days after the purchase to go return it in exchange for a new one. Not to mention the 15 dollar restocking fee. But its worth it.
I love my One S
