this is htc's slimmest phone and it is super awesome... it has a super camera and doesnt lag... plus jelly bean is comming soon... keep calm and buy it....
the only thing is its a bit slippery on hand so ull need a good cover with it..

Stay away from this phone.
First, it comes with two different chipsets, and you never know what you get.
Second, it has a very low signal quality: it's not able to hook to the network, in areas where my other smartphones have no problems.

best and most amazing htc phone i ever used. And yes in asia it is clocked at 1.7 Ghz in. And its a substitue for s2. And a best buy for those for who cannot use s3 and other big smart phones.

S3 for Asian market because shortage of chips, so HTC decided to launch HTC Asian market with the old S3 chip with higher clock 1.7 to make it equally comparable to interational market s4 chips in CPU performance. Which still shortfall of S4 chip performance I agree that HTC one s is far better in performance from Xperia S, if your having S4 chip, but if your having S3 than sorry to say performance is not up to the mark. I myself having S4 version in Asia. I have buyed it from UK. You need search for it do google and you will find the answer.

I read lots of reviews and comments regarding the smart phone. Finally I decided to go with SGS2 or HTC One-S. But, still there is a lots of confusion between both. which is a better..?? which is more reliable..??

Also, the asian version is a snapdragon s3 version chip, not Krait. First, get YOUR facts right bro, before asking others. Read the comment he responded to and dont assume stuff. And btw, sony's interface is called 'timescape' not 'touchscape'. Lol.

Where as HTC ... moreI dont know what u smoke before writing that comment but thats a bunch of wrong info, both the one s and xperia s is clocked at 1.5ghz and nope the one s is not clocked at 1.7 ghz, and the performance difference is not minor as you say , the benchmarks speaks for themselves, krait cores are the fastest , followed by the new exynos and then comes the scorpion cores , get your facts right before writing stuff like that, also htc sense is much more efficient then touchescape and also has better battery life , not to mention the xperia s has terrible sunlight legibility
