Open app navigate to system information uder CPU it will b Max. freq. 1512 MHz go to the other tab under gpu of its written adreno 225 its mean it is right HTC one S version you should have because it's Qualcomm's new S4 chipset with dual core krait processor. But if Max. freq equal to. 1.7 GHz or 1700 MHz and gpu is adreno 220 than your having the old Qualcomm S3 chipset that is for Indian market and few other markets and its downgrade of S4 chip. Get the HTC one S 1.5 cpu with adreno 225.

I bought d phone in saudi since they were selling snapdragon processor in india but they just said it has 1.5ghz..now how to find wat processor it has?? n my battery gets drained very fast..suggest me how should i stop it..pls

If you can't afford HTC products you rather go and buy LG,Nokia,Sony,etc.
There are people out there who are using two to three HTC phones at the same time like me. However, So far my phones works perfectly for me or do you want me to come with gimmicks stories about What is not true about the phone.
for your information, my friends owns HTCs & Iphones Only. how can you afford iPhone if you only own a single HTC phone. u r a joke.

currently, HTC Sensation & Evo 3d & One X.
I buy phones on prepaid not on contract.
I'm a super fan of HTC don't play games.
HTC on Midrand (joburg, South Africa) knows me very well.
my wife has been using iphones day one till today. I bought s2 & s3 for my two beautiful daughters. I bought my p.a HTC one S.
Hope next time will never underestimate other people whom you don't know.

As most people, on receiving the HTC One S I was ecstatic. Such a slick and beautiful phone and the screen is fantastic! Unfortunately it just went down from here. Within a few days we noticed that the reception was very poor even compared to swapping the same sim out to another phone. It is so poor that you can hear the difference in the bad line when making or receiving a call and this only when there is enough reception to make at least one signal bar... It should be said that by reading some blogs with other users having the same problem we found that by switching the 3G off, the reception significantly improves…
The phone was eventually returned and a new one send out. Same problems. :’(
I decided to leave it like this with my work-around (turning off the 3G when not required) for a few months to see if an update comes out and the situation improves. Then a new problem emerged.
Started noticing the screen jumping (on it’s own) to the home (multiple screen a.k.a helicopter view) and back as if the home button is being pressed. This got worse and worse and is now at the point where we cannot use the phone as it almost constantly jumps around.
Off course I have been in contact with HTC about this and the problem is still outstanding, they have suggested; we reboot the phone, we clear the cache, reset to factory, and asked a multitude of question, but to no avail. Problem still persist with no fix in sight.
