AnonD-54689, 14 Jun 2012Again HTC India changed the processor to 1.7GHz...WTF.. :-XXXXXXin india they use S3 processor, not S4.

Whereas the HTC One S with the older 1.7GHz S3 processor is marked as the Z560e. So beware while buying.It's honestly not wort going in for the 1.7Ghz processor version even if its priced at Rs.30,000.Spread the word about this convention to reduce the FUD while purchasing.Lets hope HTC stick to this naming atleast rather than doing what Samsung did.
HTC One S (S4 version)=> Z520e
HTC One S (S3 version)=> Z560e
saholic says the s4 processor is there for 33k
I AM so confused.. WHAT TO DO..... SOMEONE PLEASE SHOW ME THE LIGHGT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL
I have seeen on saholic.com and they have confirmed that they have the s4 processor for 33k.. Thinking if i should buy it or not as htc says they are only launching 1.7 ghz processor..
FUC***G CONFUSED WAHT TO DO...
At last the price is rs.28600/-. Samsung smartphone outlet is selling this phone.
Dude can you explain Fud. I really dont knw abt Krait . i'm not into all this hardcore stuff. But people are querying abt it. Going tomorrow to purchase it. Will ask for best price :)
I visited the HTC outlet in Bangalore today and was surprised about the FUD they are feeding the customers.
HTC ONE S in India will be priced at 28-30K. Please be aware that this phone will be running SnapDragon 3 chipset and clocked at 1.7Ghz. Also keep an eye if the processor is Krait (which I highly doubt).
Keep an eye on the RAM and GPU available.
HTC should start advertising this on the box and give people enough information before they hand over their hard earned money.
hey guys i have a very important question
you know that the display of this phone is super amoled which uses pentile matrix
i heard that pentile displays does not have a good quality
i want to ask you that how is pentile with you when you use your mobile?
how is the quality of the display?
please help me
because i want to buy a one s
Currently the One s is priced @ 36150 , an unconventional pricing for a far inferior product with the s3. Its infact higher than HTC One x. When samsung Galaxy S3 is @ 38 k , why some body would look at this ! Its continuously HTC has been ignoring the Indian market , some serious issues with the strategy level as they dont have adequate service centers too. First they brought HTC rhyme without dock with a very high pricing -no colour choices, then they now bring HTC one s - inferior specs , a pricing what no body would consider it to buy. The revenue of the company is falling globally , this kind of move would further bring it downward only. One god move would be to bring htc j isw13ht in India with a price tag of 28-30k.It would definitely grab the attention.
very good phone except for the display it sucks it is really really pixelated...
I think price of HTC one s in india as quoted by infibeam would be completely wrong. Since HTC One X is above One S when compared to specification like screen size, processor etc.. also HTC do not cannibalize its top of line smart phone with inferior version. HTC One S price would be around 33K MRP.
AnonD-1984, 15 Jun 2012Yesterday i went to a mobile store they told me that HTC one S stock will be available from 16... moreITs with s3 processor so not good..better go for oneX as the price diff. Is not too much!!
Infact even in Singapore oneS is 750 sing dollars and oneX is 745 sing dollars. Ridiculous. HTC needs to rethink their pricing urgently. OneS at best should be pitted against the S2 which is 27-28k. Granted OneX is brilliant but dont forget the looming samsung galaxies (S2 and S3)
check dis out..its a freakin s3 chipset.
go get a one x instead!!
Ridiculous. Infibeam is charging 39k less 3000 discount so 36k. I dont know whether 26-27 k as advised by one contributor seems possible now? HTC deserves to bomb out with this one - ridiculously high price, lower processor, no reason for me to buy the 1s when the 1x is available for as low as 35k on various websites.
Go burn, htc.
