very good phone except for the display it sucks it is really really pixelated...
Htc one s or xperia s ?
which is better one s r xperia s?? also i heard itz priced around 33k
I think price of HTC one s in india as quoted by infibeam would be completely wrong. Since HTC One X is above One S when compared to specification like screen size, processor etc.. also HTC do not cannibalize its top of line smart phone with inferior version. HTC One S price would be around 33K MRP.
AnonD-1984, 15 Jun 2012Yesterday i went to a mobile store they told me that HTC one S stock will be available from 16... moreITs with s3 processor so not good..better go for oneX as the price diff. Is not too much!!
Infact even in Singapore oneS is 750 sing dollars and oneX is 745 sing dollars. Ridiculous. HTC needs to rethink their pricing urgently. OneS at best should be pitted against the S2 which is 27-28k. Granted OneX is brilliant but dont forget the looming samsung galaxies (S2 and S3)

check dis out..its a freakin s3 chipset.
go get a one x instead!!
:D
Ridiculous. Infibeam is charging 39k less 3000 discount so 36k. I dont know whether 26-27 k as advised by one contributor seems possible now? HTC deserves to bomb out with this one - ridiculously high price, lower processor, no reason for me to buy the 1s when the 1x is available for as low as 35k on various websites.
Go burn, htc.
Yesterday i went to a mobile store they told me that HTC one S stock will be available from 16th june.
they had the dummy and price told was around Rs.26-27k
waiting for it. anybody who like to share info regarding to this.
HTC seems to have priced it above 36000/- at least that is what below site has given price of the handset with downgraded processor:
http://www.infibeam.com/Mobiles/i-HTC-Mobiles-One-S/P-E-M-HTC-One-S.html?id=Black
:lol ... that's awesome ... One X is cheaper than One S :D
waited for so long for the HTC One S and now it comes with the older processor. a real shame. had liked the phone for its size ans other specs.. Now will have to buy the One X. Really disappointed after waiting so long
It is totally nonsense i am waiting for this phone from about 2 month & finally it gone to launch in india , they change the processor s4 to s3,why should i pay 33k for last year outdated technology which facing so many issues .It is so sad the htc cutting there now legs ......

but already we have waited for 2 months... are another few months worth the wait or shud we buy dis one wid s3 chipd or shud we jus go for another cell phone now...
HTC are quietly brilliant in confusing people.
AnonD-54689, 14 Jun 2012Again HTC India changed the processor to 1.7GHz...WTF.. :-XXXXXXHahaha! This page is funny. I wanted the One S for so long, then yesterday finally picked up the Galaxy Nexus. And believe me, it's a GEM of a phone. Am so glad I went for this instead of stupid HTC that doesn't respect its customers and thinks we're fools. I love my Nexus :)
Htc India website mentions htc one s with 1.7ghz CPU. Lot of role were waiting for release of the phone in India. But by releasing the phone with s3 it has committed ONE big stupid mistake. No doubt htc sales are going down. Why should anyone htc when they are take people for granted.
Again HTC India changed the processor to 1.7GHz...WTF.. :-XXXXXX
We all have been waiting for this for a long long time ,disappointed .
Anyways here's the first comparison between s4 & s3 on ONE S .

Below is what is posted on THE VERGE ,after this benchmark how long that
statement holds true .
"As with many high-demand HTC devices, we always work with our supply chain partners to source models which will allow us to meet customer demand as quickly as possible. In cases where more than one part is used, we ensure the same high bar of quality in the part to provide an equal user experience."
