AnonD-15469, 07 Jun 2012does anyone know about the exact price and launch date? the s3 processor is being used due to... moreprice would be around 28k...launch price would be around 30k...may not exceed this...launch date is around june 15th...but we can get in stores by june end...there is no diff in specs ecxcept the s3 instead of s4... one doubt is does it supoorts radio or not???? bro if u seen any reviews regarding the s3 1.7 ghz performance post hat link dont fail to do this...if this review says that s3 sucks...i had to search for another phone..

AnonD-48887, 07 Jun 2012so finally one sis releasing in india...can anyone pls help me....can i buy this phone with s3... mores4 is faster than s3 and consumes less battery, thats the main advantage. a dual core 1.5ghz s4 processor will open any application and run it much faster than a dual core 1.5ghz s3 processor. it will consume less battery as it uses 28 nanometer semiconductor technology. it also produces less heat- http://blog.gsmarena.com/qualcomm-boasts-its-snapdragon-s4-thermal-efficiency-compares-it-to-the-ti-omap-4430-and-the-exynos-4210/.
any ways, i will search for benchmark testing and reviews of this 1.7 version of this phone any only then decide if i want to buy this phone or not..

hey guys !
I am confused because i do not know which one is better for me to buy , one x ore one s ?
because you know that the chipset of one x is tegra 3 and it can not play all games like gangester or modern combat and love playing games and one of the reasons of that I want to buy an android device is gaming.
but is some of the comments some people say that their one s is hangihg and hey have some problems with their device and i wanted to know that are these problems true or not .
and if they are true what is the solution (in fact is there any solution ?
and of course i wanted to know that how is the battery life of this device ? I mean can i use it all of the day without charge it again!!!!
and of course i wanted to know that does this phone have usb-on-the-go?
please help me because I need your help so much !!!!!

Dont worry about s3 vs s4 it's nearly have same experience since its overclocked to 1.7 however it might differ in some games because it has older chip

HTC you are running to the wrong way. Pls focus on the Htc One S if u want to win, you can't win the Galaxy S3.
The marketing of Htc is a mess.
They should attack the Galaxy weak point, 4.3" market. The lower price of 4.3" Htc One S will WIN, even compare to iPhone.

AnonD-48887, 06 Jun 2012i read it but...didn`t got clarity regarding the difference between 2 processors..in each spec... moreJust understand it in this way that one s with s4 chipset was great bcoz it's competition xperia s and gs2(with exynos chip) doesn't have this latest technology and it could easily beat them.
But if it does come with s3 chipset in southeast asia then also everything is not lost as u'll get almost same processing power as xperia s(which also has s3 chipset) or gs2(which has exynos chip comparable to s3) or even slightly better coz it's overclocked.
In that case though i would recommend xperia s as it has better cam,more internal memory,hd screen and more importantly priced similarly to one x at around 30k.

AnonD-48887, 05 Jun 2012can any one who used this phone kindly tell what sort of problems you are facing in one s...pl... moreS3 processor is an old technology (not so old, last year) but it's already outdate if you compare with exynos that using in GS3, S4 using 28nm technology, exynos in GS3 using 32nm and S3 using 45nm, so S4 is more energy efficient, more faster, and using new technology, so if HTC One S using this S3 processor, I better buy GS3 with 4 core exynos

I have had this phone for a few weeks now. Its a dream to use, Battery life is awesome for all day use. Camera shoots great, and the phone functions better then my SGSII.
I would recommend this phone to anyone looking for a great Android 4 device.

This phone cost the same price US$600 both in taiwan and USA. You pay the SAME price for a lower spec product, just because you are from asia.

you may find it useful. I have - it hasn't put me off...but is interesting reading. Allphones have issues, I guess it's up to the individual how detremental they are...
