I mean, can you simply plug it to PC and upload/download the files, or does it need any special software to be installed first?
AnonD-54689, 19 May 2012Is Non user replaceable battery a problem? I worry about this. Otherwise this is a beast. Plea... moreYou can give the answer yourself.....how many times you have changed the battery for your last phone.....
generally when it says battery is non replaceable by user, it means you cannot just slide out the cover and change the battery but still can get it changed by any local mobile repair shop having the right tools to open the phone and this will be generally after 2-3 years (if you still hold that phone) and that time anyway you do not have warranty so does not matter who opens it.
i too had a doubt when compared to battery... i`m buying this phone by my own money......so as it is a non replaceable battery....will it work for minimum 3 years!! can anyone give assurance regarding the life.. pls suggest anything to me...i`m bit confused!!
Is Non user replaceable battery a problem? I worry about this. Otherwise this is a beast. Please tell me...Because in future if anything goes wrong then we can not replace the battery...So
Will this phone be suitable if I have a lot of music? Maybe 2000 songs?
I'm the owner of this beautifully crafted mobile phone, quality of built is really stunning, screen is absolutely amazing to look at as everything is so sharp ( size of a screen is 4.3" with 540 x 960 resolution, much better than my Samsung Galaxy SII ) fast user interface and new Sence 4.0 is a real treat combined with latest Android 4.0.3. Plenty of useful app flashlight, notes, pdf viewer, Polaris office etc...
Best thing about is rich, clean sound when listening your favorite music, I don't own Dr Dre headphones but my Sony ones are more than enough to enjoy too.
One negative thing about this device is that comes with limited memory in this case 16GB ( you end up only with 9GB ) but still enough to store your favorite music, videos etc. Another thing is that also comes with not user replaceable battery, but I hope that is not a problem as I am sure it will last minimum 2 years or more.
Fast internet browsing, very easy to type your text messages and emails, call quality very very good..."one amazing mobile phone" is the last thing I should say about it!
friends now it`s pretty confirm that htc one s gonna release in india either this month ending or start of june....hurray i`m dying to buy the phone.... can anyone confirm that they dont change the processors depending on the country...as samsung did the same for galaxy s2...
AnonD-54689, 17 May 2012What wud be the approx price?Around $550 for the international version (unlocked). Also depending on each country, phone shops or carriers. But that's the best estimation for now. Should be about a 100 bucks cheaper than the OneX.
AnonD-15208, 18 May 2012This would have been certainly my next phone... Deal breaker was non expandable memory... 16gb... moreWhat, 16GB is not enough? What the heck do you use more than that for? You can always move stuff around between computer and the phone.
milad, 17 May 2012Its very better than iphone4s!!!!!!!!!!!no????Of course it's better than iPhone 4s. Anything is better than iPhone.
This would have been certainly my next phone... Deal breaker was non expandable memory... 16gb what were they thinkin...
I think the HTC One S is a very portable High-End smartphones that over powers the leading mobile market .
i don't think leading smartphone brands have any luck to race against the HTC One Series .
Well Done HTC !
AnonD-54689, 17 May 2012What wud be the approx price?Am not sure of the price. But I guess between 25-30 rupees.
yeah Htc one S benchmark results are better than Htc one X benchmark results.that means qualcomm dual core is better than nvidia quad core.shit and now the Samsung galaxy s III 's exynos quad core is giving a fucking amazing benchmark result and the best benchmark result..
Had mailed HTC yesterday regarding release of One S in India.
They did confirm release and say it was scheduled for end of may or early June, but they do not have an exact date yet.
So I'm guessing the release is less than a month away
