I wish Tmobile had followed Sprint and added expandable memorory and a modified design instead of just using the international version

This is the worst phone I have ever had, I wish I never got this phone! Thankfully it was a replacement handset!, battery life is rubbish, no microSD card slot, and it can't connect to HTC SYNC!

Autonomous, 07 May 2012That's a killer question, dear... seriously... Better ask fan-boys or hTC... predictable respo... moreWell hater will keep hating. U've lost your logical sense. Just hold the power button it will turn off. Or hold power button + volume rocker and boot in recovery. Non-removable battery has come way before htc one series. It's not new and there is lot of workaround it.

Just got a htc one s to try out for a short while. I'm rather
disappointed with the switch from my previous Samsung sII t989.
Seems like the battery life isn't that much better, and the screen is noticeably smaller. More importantly, the speaker phone volume is such that it doesn't really work, at all. sure
I can use it in a quiet room, but being a mobile device I don't
see many quiet room scenarios, more like windy cars and noisy walkways. It IS a very nice, slim and sleek handset, but not what i need it for. I think I will take it back and get my old sgsII back.

I'd say, don't buy this one or train yoga and learn how to control yourself in such situations or better option, wait for the battery to die out... too costly to smash onto floor... Hardware reset is unavoidable...

AnonD-8075, 01 May 2012Guys I'm really confused, whether I should buy One X,or should I go for One s,do you really nee... moreTo me between One X and One S the differentiating factor is only the screen size. Both are great phones otherwise and future proof.
The Dual core of One S beats the Quad of One X in performance, thats coz coz the OS and Apps are today not designed to take advantage of Quads. That will change in future, but keeping in mind the low end Android that are more in numbers, the app market will keep a balance.

Its definitely not releasing in India any time soon. Also if you buy it from outside the country there is a USD 35 charge because HTC claims they have to buy the parts from the country that the phone was manufactured in which makes no sense to me. Because most countries import their phones anyway... But yes, the one S is definitely not for India anytime soon until the performance issues with the US models and Indian models are not ironed out.For the first time HTC had a killer phone on their hands, and teh timing was perfect because the iphone 4S looks dated, the S3 wasnt yet out and they could have clocked brisk sales if they had come out with all guns blazing on the one S and one X...BUMMER...
