adit, 19 Apr 2012Has this phone been released in India ?? And should I buy HTC one v or one s ???? Confused One v
Of course you're confused. They have so many models, you can't even choose, so you will probably go for the iPhone because it's easier. That's their mistake... too many models!!!
Anonymous, 17 Apr 2012I have tried this phone, it's very nice indeed - falls into your palm nicely. The only problem... morejust because you man hood is bigger dosent mean its better, led screen is far better than the x's lcd screen. yes more pixels but ths does not mean it looks better at all. side by side the s screen looks more vibrant and colourful. hense the ref to bigger is best LOL you cant always say my phone wins it has more numbers on the processor and more gb storage. its dopwn to loads of factors. and im sure your loving the battery life. which i hear is dier on the x. so bigger is not always best and the s is still a massive contender. dont be taken in by the trap of the better the hardware the better the phone. many people are wasting money wanting the newest phone as it has a septagonal processor., this is why the econy is to crap . anyways the s is a great phone , small compact and powerfull.

The only problem I have is with the screen of this ONE S, which cannot compare to the ONE X I'm using ... I guess after getting used to the best; second best is still not good enough!?
Rago, 07 Apr 2012Had this less than 12 hours, screen is scratched already. so much for gorilla glass :(You'll find that using the screen protector will prevent any scratches to the screen itself, and my partner has had gorilla glass and has had no scratches before or after use of screen protectors.
I have had this phone for a week now having thought long and hard about the upgrade to choose from my htc Desire. The choice was the iphone 4S or this having decided the One X was too big and the One V too small. It was a few days after the release before I was able to see a working model in a shop but once I had I was sold. My main concern was that it seemed wafer thin in the hand and in a hip or breast pocket seemed likely to break with a slight pressure, but I have to say it is robust enough and once I receive my htc flexishield skin I will treat it with less caution.
The phone is fast, the battery life superb despite running all the Google sync apps I require and even the screen has stunning definition at least as good as the Galaxy S2. I easily registered for my Dropbox account and received my free gigabytes to make 25gig total and have no concerns as to running low on phone memory, a warning I received regularly on my Desire despite the use of the micro SD card.
I must highly recommend this fabulous smartphone for it has everything you would expect. The navigation maps superb, the in-car app an inspired addition and the ability to change to the phone keyboard (I am useless with QWERTY)puts it well ahead of the iphone's primitive useability by comparison even accounting for the Siri application. You will not be disappointed if you make this your choice.
Bolee, 15 Apr 2012Pls i need some one to responde to my question. hTC Rezound & One S which one is by far th... moreI would go with one s because it has the s4 processor and the Rezound has the s3 processor, the s4 processor is more powerful and I believe the battery life will be better with the one s because of the super amoled display uses less power when displaying blacks on the screen, the Rezound does have an hd display so it will have to push more pixels per inch to the display being that its 1280*720hd display over 960*540 quarter hd display on the one s
Sa ra, 15 Apr 2012I want to know same thing...You won't go wrong with either phone they are both great devices but the one s in my opinion is better the s4 chipset in the one s is more powerful than the exynos in the gs2 they both have super amoled plus screens but the one s has a higher resolution at 540*960 while the gs2 has a 480*800 resolution, the new camera tech on the one s is supposed to be the best yet from HTC you can record video and take pictures at the same time.the one s will have ice cream sandwich out of the box while you will have to wait for the sg2 to get updated which who knows how long that will take so I would go with the one s or wait till the sg3 comes out, hope my input was helpful to you

I am my self answring my Question :-
PLS. correct me if i am wrong ..
1. Before i will purchas te phone I will 1st look its Internal Brain & then Beauty comes
--HTC GET A POINT in it
2. BOTH BRANDS ARE EQUALY GOOD THATS WHY WE ALL ARE CONFUSED ... WHY WE ARE NOT CONFUSED WITH HTC with SAMSUNG (( why we are not confused with SONY with NOKIA.. -- so here HTC & SONY both win the Point (Brand wise)
3. HTC - INternally accepts in the heart ( its a acceped phone) & Sony in one go is not accepted phone --- IN 1st look - only if compared its Graphics users interface..- HTC wins
4. SOUNT wise -- NO dout Sony wins..
5. technology & compated to H/w & service centers - HTC wins ( SOny is nu in market -- need some time to spread Service centers)-- HTC is old in markedt--HTC WINS
6. HTC phone if u grip it look comfortabl;le* it is having poly carbonate body
, On other hand ..sony having plastic body/....HTC wins
One more things both phones are good -- actually it depens on user to user requirement
I am into TELECOM ---Technical person--- so I will more go with Technical issue rether than WHite strip line & beauty..
BUT STILL I WOULD LIKE TO GET A BRILLANT ADVICE FROM U USERS... PLS> SHARE UR VIEWS on email@example.com or pls. call +91 8802030505
will consider this only if it is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than SGS2 and/or Moto Razr XT910.
To all the people who are complaining about the phone only having 16GB internal memory are crazy I think that space is more than enough for a phone, how many people watch movies on their phone I mean come on thats what tablets are for. This will be my next phone unless Samsung SIII blows away the competition.

Go for the SGS2. Tried and tested with the latest ICS released. Combine the Samsung 2000mAh Battery Extended Kit with black wallpaper + SwithPro Widget + ApnDroid and your battery-worries are over. I can start from 100%; watch a 90 minute movie, and still have well over 80% battery-juice left, given I tune down the screen-brightness indoors.

Having lots of movies and other downloads to choose from away from home, more or less demands 16-32GB extra in that all-imortant card slot. Non-excisting on both the "One S" and "Galaxy Nexus" - unfortunately thats a dealbreaker for me. And I dont think Im alone.
