i purchase htc one v last week
i found yellow spot at left bottom of my phone
is there any possiblity of replacement?

Had one of these phones. Great screen build camera too. But the phone lags like no other I ever seen. Lags worse than Wildfire S. Absolutely awful. Shame really

i am using this phone and its quite intrusting and amazing i dont know why people have problem using this phone one thing i really do i like about this phone is its slimness and its performance as heating is concerned i want to mention that my dear friends before using this cell phone i am using htc desire s which also have same problem of heating while we used the apps overall i really must say its very good phone as compare to rest of them

it's not even a month since i bought this phone and it started showing problems. it had 80% charge but it suddenly switched off and won't turn on. In less than a month of purchase i had to visit the service center.
had a real bad experience with htc one v, would never recommend this phone to any one. :/

Not worth buying HTC. Within months of purchase, the phone started giving lots of issues. Finally died and need to replace. More than the phone the after
sales customer services is very very poor. I am totally frustrated with HTC. It is more than 2 weeks, I have not been replaced with new phone or serviced or provided a standby.

so, when the proximity saw a light,the buttons light are automatically turn off,but when there is no light,it turns on the light

Hello guys I am using this phone and it is going to be 1 month..I saw many comments here mostly negative comments..But I must say I like this phone very much..Best phone to have in such a low price range.. Yes only problem I faced that HD games are not able to load and run..apart from that no complain. Best camera, Good audio, Nice net browing, Relatively good battery life being a smart phone..

The memory card keeps getting unmounted on its own every 2-3 mins (Error Msg: SD Card unexpectedly Removed)and the screen keeps illuminating on its own every 5 secs which is extremely irritating!!!!

Though performance is good, facing heat prob. Getting over heat immedi while start using apps, and battery back up is very bad.nt mre than 8-9 hrs.

I bought an HTC one V yesterday and on having a close look, I can see that the 3 LED buttons(Home, back and History) below doesn't keeps glowing while browsing the phone. Its glows and after sometime it goes off. And sometime doesn't glow at all.
So, is this a problem with my lone device or anybody else is also facing the same problem.

hi im from the philippines. just bought this phone last 06/02/12. after a day i found out that there is this yellow spots at the corner of the screen. have it replaced after a week. here are what i think the pros and cons re this phone.
pro:
-price
-very good camera
-allum case, lcd glass,unique design(not cheap feeling compared to samsung)
-with ics
-beats audio(only works with headset)
-reasonable speed(browsing is great
-good battery life( as compared to some droid phones, multitasking last dis fone by 8-10 hrs considering games,calls,sms,browsing simultaneously)
con:
-fixed battery
-minor lagging issues(esp. games)
-music apps sucks
-speakers sucks(beats only works with headset)
-earpiece lacks loud(barely hears talking. i use my headset for a call.)
-very simple entry level fone.(for techies, this is not recommended.)
-stock browser sucks(need to download dolphin)

awesome phone. bought it for 17,300 a couple of weeks back. the UI rocks. games run smoothly. you won't even realize that it has only a processor speed of 1G. never slows down, except at one point when I was running 8 very heavy apps together, but even then the lag was almost negligible. sound-hound is great. SNS integration is too good. the GPS locks very fast. battery is a little above average, so squeezing a couple of days worth of juice is no big deal. the keyboard's good, doesn't have the swype gesture though. and there are some really irritating apps(one of them is plurk) which keep running in the background even after disabling and force stopping. overall, the best mid.range android ICS out there.

I am using this phone since 1 week replace it from desire HD.... love this phone it's optimum phone in this range and there isn't any flaws uptil now

As I can tell, you didn't experienced any big problem or failure that need service intervention (as some people had)?
