Hi,
I am using HTC One V from last month. Phone is fine but HTC One series is facing the issue of Yellow spots on screen. i am not sure it's manufacturer fault or what??
but majority of the HTC one series phone have the yellow spots issue, you can use google for more research.
For the HTC One V Users :
Please check your phone screen by applying white wallpaper, and check it deeply i hope you will see the yellow spots on your scree.
I will suggest you to stay away from this phone.

Immediately noticed light leak problem and yellow spots on the screen. Got it replaced within a week. The second handset also had spots on the screen. Got that replaced as well the next day. Now, the 3rd piece has a flawless screen. But I have noticed problems with the signal strength. If you hold the phone in a certain way it drops the wifi signal even if I'm within a metre from the router. I dont know if this is a major problem or if its just in my head....

I own it now and its one one nice phone although there are a few things that it majorly lacks.
1.No cam Click button.
If you have to click your own pictures you need to have someone with you to do it.
Its really hard to click your own pictures when the picture button is on screen.
2.The Phone's battery heats up a bit when using GPS but then its GPS is flawlessly awesome.
3.Bad battery back up.Max out 6 hrs.
But its a good phone.

I m using this phone for last 2 weeks......and it's a great phone.....no heating issues...like others are complaining.....the camera and music is the bonus on this phone.....superb quality.....wifi is excellent...battery back up is good....thought I miss my live weather wallpaper in this phone which I had in my previous phone...htc desire. But still for the price...htc one v is the best budget phone in the market right now...go for it...

S Liu, 27 May 2012After 5 years of using 3 Blackberry phones, and lots of research on gsmarena, I bought One V. ... moreAlso, the back plastic cover is the antenna. For some reasons, the signal strength of my One V is not strong. Have not come across problems like dropping phone calls, but on 2 occasions, I could not hear the caller for quite a long period of time half way through conversations. Both times, the phone picked up the signal by itself and conversation continued.
