i guess the antenna is located in the bottom curve part of the phone, so whenever you hold the phone around that area, the reception will be affected, so far no signal issues here...

Front camera is the one thing i miss the most.. and Tv out would have been cherry on cake.. they could have kept it price according to that..

Samsung Galaxy S Advance is better im giving u the reasons why? Galaxy is
. Dual core 1Ghz cortex A9 while hTC is 1ghz single
. Super Amoled corning Glass Display but hTC is just Capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors
.768mb RAM, 2GB ROM with 8/16 internal storage while the HTC has just 512Mb RAM with 4 GB internal storage
.Screen Size is 4.0 which is an ideal size for any user
but
hTC One V has 4.1 Android ice cream sand wich
Battery is few hrs more then Galaxy S Advance
One V is cheap in cost compared to Galaxy S advance
Features are same almost if OS matters then go for hTC, if performance matters then go for Galaxy s advance...

I get new HTC v gust 16k with 8 gb last Sunday
phone is good , bettery life also good
but. phone internal memory little low 1gb for use.
overall phone good in this price range

Screen gorgeous camera takes good pics too. Build quality the best. Screen is pressed right up against glass so no.air gap or dust can get in

HI EVERY, IM JUST HERE TO CLEAR THE FOG! THE ONLY DRAWBACK OF THE HTC ONE V IS THAT IT DOES NOT HAVE A FRONT FACING CAMERA and you can not replace the battery by yourself, OTHER THAN THAT, THE PHONE IS AWESOME! THE SCREEN IS BRIGHT AND HIGHLY DETAILED! its has higher ppi than ace 2 plus which for me matters because i don't really want to have a pixelated image display.
its fast, no lag so far. brilliant camera!! add to that the superb LED FLASH!
the screen is ultra sensitive and smooth.
UI is the best!
web browsing is fast!
battery is good. last 2.3 days for me, 2 hrs wi-fi browsing 3 hours game daily(where's my water?) and and hour and a half call and some few texts.
another thing bothers me is that you can only unlock the phone through its power button.
any questions?

Excellent Mobile to have !
Great quality indeed (including battery, music, display and all). I bought one after long research .. best buy in 15-20K budget. Watch movies on it n you will never go for even lappy !
