AnonD-120273, 07 Mar 2013anyone tell me about its main problem b/c i m interstd to buy it... any suggestion,,,Only 3 problems
1. Low ram almost 75 percent used by sense and background apps, sometimes even 100mb left when running, causes settings to open with delay over 3 second,
Using facebook, then your phone will lag horribly under normal operations
2. 1ghz single core s2 generation processor which is 2 and half year old, what's the disadvantage, though most games are compatible, many new games don't support it, and out most payable games some of them exit while playing, may be too much for less ram and single core cpu,
3 phone has good stand by time, but when used with data network, battery exhaust quickly, may be the screen and hardware, rest is good about this phone
Yes missed front cam but that's not big deal for me
anyone tell me about its main problem b/c i m interstd to buy it... any suggestion,,,
Grinch, 06 Mar 2013yes, you are right, i got this phone for a month and i got the same problemA new software update recently (at my side just yesterday) introduced makes this phone solid as a rock. No lag anymore, my user experience improved extremely. It used to have huge lags while loading text messages and contacts, now both can be loaded rapidly with no lag. Apps such as Viper were not working properly, there used to be many application not responding errors but now everything is much more reliable.
love the design.
its slim, doesnt feel cheap because its not plastic.
just love it
APPZ, 08 Feb 2013HOW is the camera capturing of htc one v at night. Is it gud?its not good at night...clarity is not fine as day clarity...but day time clarity awesome..i love dis phone bcuz of this...
Good phone for the money and good for the basic users. Want more, you'll pay for it as well.
Please anyone who wants to buy this phone , don't buy any phone with 512 mb ram and running HTC sense, go for any other HTC phone with higher ram, I sold my phone , why the answer, may be in beginning doesn't lag, but when you load it with apps especially signed in to facebook, you will know how badly it lags, a few facts no jellybean update HTC confirmed it, HTC sense is lighter version, not that one on HTC one s or one x, even if you want it go for dual core desirex with 768 mb ram, it was introduced because HTC learnt many things from one v, they put it desire series because they compromised in camera , one v has better one but as my experience if phone lags with multiple apps then you can't hold your patience. By the way I loved my one v too much, but traded it for one s and now I am enjoying htc sense with jellybean
this phone is just in range no lag great gaming clear display just waht u need in this budjet a great phone to wrap all up
Htc desire v is the best phone in the market for younger and medium age group it is butter smooth
if i could make phone calls and get 3g i would like this phone. not happining. greet photos love the beats audio. has been back to the shop because software crap. phone shopping again.
i'm using htc one v.its nice but sometime feel awkward...maybe cause the the programme not so efficent...but overrall im satisfied with it...
should i buy this phone?? please suggest me guys...if not then which is better...
rud89, 28 Feb 2013one v is better and ore stable than desire x.Sorry to say but one v has lag problem because of 512mb ram and won't be updated to jellybean in any case, HTC desire x has more ram 768mb and runs on sense 4.1, still no official comment by HTC on jellybean but I think it can be updated, desire x has removable cover, when it comes to display HTC one v has more pixel density and looks sharp even though desire x has bigger screen, camera diff desirex doesn't shoot at 720p but at 480x800 5 mp, one v scores with 720p capability, processor desire x has dual core which is great, one v single core troubles a lot and aluminium body heats,
practically desirex is best because it will not hang, one v only scores for body, camera and display
My htc one v.is hanging alot...and slow in working..dam..............it
I am about to get the HTC One v.. And Im scared... dont know if the battery will last more than 24hours or lcd will hav issues... or lag.. Im scared of lag.
