It's a phone which feels great in the hand. The Sense 5 keyboard is a beauty. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi reception and batterylife are pretty horrible. If you know how to tweak the phone, i.e. use Greenify, I am sure you could live with this.
Yesterday, I compared it to a Nexus 5....and yes, the N5 is super fast, has a bigger screen (1080p), and feels really light in de hand, but my conclusion is that they can basically do the exact same thing. Not much has changed in two years.
Facing issue wit the Aux/headset slot of the phone... The phone automatically opens up the voice search or dials the last dialled or even skips to the next song when playing music via headset or aux... Any recommendations? Service centers really horrible service in India... Pls help!!

Mike, 03 Feb 2014Heyy guys....Planning to buy this phone, can u plz let me know about the battery life, for a nor... moreIts good set as far as battery concern. With normal usage you can use it for 18-20 Hrs.
Wifi sucks on this phone. Plus, HTC will not update this phone past Andriod 4.2.2 even though this is their 2012's flagship phone. HTC has been notorious for slow or even not updating their phones. So, if you care about updates, I would stay away from all HTC phones.
Heyy guys....Planning to buy this phone, can u plz let me know about the battery life, for a normal usage will it stand for 1 day
i have the htc one x+ (the next upgrade for this phone) The phone works great when it works. But im also having major issues with my SIM card and its a complete pain when the SIM card says its out when its really not
Worst phone ever I've replaced it 5 times due to SIM card carriage and frequently crashing. When it works it's good but it rarely works
The HTC one X happens to be the worse phone, I have ever owned.. Had to get three replacements in less then a month apart do to the batter over heating and killing its self... Finally they are giving me a better phone a Samsung... No more HTC phones for me...
It's a great phone, no longer cutting edge, but it got updated to 4.2.2 with Sense 5, (which nerfed the wifi for some reason) but the real stand out thing about it, rarely mentioned is what it feels like in your hand. It's ceramic, smooth and warm, there is almost organic feel to it, it's a thing of beauty. Well worth your time, even now, (2014)
After owning this device for close to a year, I did put a custom OS without backing up the device and now am stuck cant find the original OS anybody please help i bought it in Hongkong..
zaki, 11 Jan 2014is this phone outdated .....can i buy this phone now.........will there be any future updates ... moreIt's a good phone, I lov mine. Never have had any issues that wasn't solved in five minutes of Google. No updates in the u.s. past 4.2 and sense 5 though, but all together I recommend. However, the htc one has gone down in price and if you have an upgrade available, its only 50$
Anonymous, 25 Jan 2014Hello , I brought my one x a year back and I totally love it but now am facing much trouble i... moreI am also facing a same problem in my HTC Incredible S. I heard this is a common issue of HTC and nobody have a solution :-(
i just bought brand new One X,on Dec,2013,in Thailand, for clearance price at 8,000THB(about 240USD). So far, i am satisfied w/ the performance; its smooth and have good graphics. In my opinion ,it is better deal than buying the latest One(m7) for about 16,000THB(480USD),just talking about cost performance.
