for guys who have the One X, how long is your screen on/display time before the battery gets drained? still waiting for battery test gsmarena...
This phone is awesome, i recently purchased this after tossing up between this the samsung s2 and iphone 4s i would more than recommend this phone. The features of this phone especially the camera and the integrated beats audio defiantly sold me on this. if your looking for a new phone and having trouble deciding id go for this one.
Just bought this device 5 days ago and WOW! ive switched back and forth between a lot of android phones and even iPhones, this is the KING/ULTIMATE. I still plan to scoop up a Galaxy S3 just b/c but will still keep this phone for build quality!! interface and UI navigating speed is so smooth and lag free...the battery has definitely got a lot better since the new 1.28 update a few days ago.... HSDPA/HSUPA instead of LTE for me is not an issue the way better Nvidia Tegra3 Quad-Core CPU makes up for the lack of LTE :) web browsing is very fast and efficient. I would definitely BUY if you have the extra 650-750 to spend on one.

Anonymous, 21 Apr 2012hey guys..... i bought this phone abt a week ago in singapore..... its an amazing phone to use... moreI bought the phone but my unit has 2 problem.
1) when using browser, the top part and the menu seems to be having a hard time to show itself. (This also happen to the second unit which the HTC change for me.
2) when I connect it to a pc,it the pc keep on asking me to install software for the phone.
Does anyone have the same problem with me?
Big screens are a problem, even Gorilla glass, because every phone should easily survive any drop from normal usage height, shoulder height, but One X does not and that is one big reason why I do not like these very big screens on a phone that I use every day! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBo3W6HdPbM
hey guys..... i bought this phone abt a week ago in singapore..... its an amazing phone to use but yesterday i suddenly discovered that there was a pixel or two blinking white when i scrolled through the home screens with a dark wallpaper. I took it to HTC service at Harbour Front today.... they immediately took the phone and its box and manuals and said that they will inspect the phone for any abuse and replace it within 3 working days. They said they will give me a completely new phone.....!! The staff were quite helpful but i had to wait of almost 2 hours...!! But i can't tell you how amazing this phone is. People who just bought it , you will experience poo battery performance initially... but after about 4 "proper" charge cycles.... it gets much better !! Do buy this phone.... its worth it !!:)

Craigy34, 20 Apr 2012Hi,
Yes i use the killer task and I don't use Skype and those types of apps and I kill ever... moreBefore this phone, I was mainly using the SE Arc S, also have Skype installed. Although Skype drain battery on any phone, but it seems a serious issue when having Skype installed in the ONE X.
Yesterday, I got over 30 hours of usage with one full charge, but today, it's a different story again! ... only approximately 6 hours of standby; and similar usage as yesterday, the phone used up 36% of the battery (Skype not signed in). So what's the problem with this phone from HTC??!!
Why is the battery so in-consistent or un-predictable? ... this lead me to believe that there has to be some software issue. I'm not an I.T. type of person, so I do not have the answer!
The design & hardware of the phone is good, but I'm beginning to get tired spending time & energy finding the answer or solution to the problem.
This is the second HTC phone I own, the first one being the HTC Diamond, which was terrible except the look.
I ordered another HTC One X, and was going to pick it up next week, but I'm thinking hard of giving up!
I've never encounter this same un-predictable battery life with other brands, namely SE Xperia series, Sony Xperia S, Motorola RAZA, iPhone 4, Nokia N8, nor Samsung Galaxy S2/Note.
What's wrong with HTC ONE X?!
kindly tell me htc solved there problem with ONE X????
top up colour problem???
