Im new to HTC as a user, i have used HTC Sensation for testing purposes before (im a mobile games tester).
But this phone is off the hook, if you have easy access to charging ports, this phone is a powerhouse, almost all the game run like butter on this...mini laptop!
Camera is awesome, but we know that from its Day one in MWC. The effects menu, however, adds a spice to the already-amazing picture quality.
The sense UI feels perfect, no stutter anywhere, no laggy moment, now i dont have many apps on my phone yet, but so far, i haven't came across any lag...
As for the apps, the usual suspects like facebook, soundhound, youtube, g+ were already in place as a part of the ICS+sense 4.0 package.
so if you are going for a powerhouse and are sure that you will have regular access to a charging point (you will be needing it 2-4 times a day on average), this may be the phone for you....of course, if you want to buy it at its current price, my opinion so far is its a worth buy
got this phone two days back, now regretting the fact that i sold a better smartphone to get this one,the samsung galaxy note.Note was really better than this one,the speed is almost the same,it has lots of bugs specially the browser;it selects text when u try to zoom in and out, never happened on the note.ICS looks cool which wudnt make much of a difference bcoz note shall be gettin it soon.DARN this phone sucks
Another very good review........ Must read :)
i am currently using desire HD known for it's bad reception quality. Can somebody give a review of One X reception quality, planning to get mine ASAP.
Phone Mechanic, 06 Apr 201210-12 hours of wifi on bluetooth off.Is that with 3G on as well? What about 3G on WIFI off, bluetooth off?
Phone Mechanic, 05 Apr 2012The best smartphone ever made. The best camera. The best sound experience. The best display... more@ Phone Mechanic. is that with WiFi Bluetooth on or off. HTC phones are brilliant but they really need to work on their battery life.
Just got the phone yestaday... Love it! Design is nice however just a little bit big. Everything runs really smoothly..The length of the cable for the charger would be better if it was longer in my circumstances. Love the camera and video functions but Don't know if it does video calling as it does have the front camera lens? Does anyone else know?
I bought one.. not bad.. wide screen, easy to carry not so big like NOTE.. :p.. waiting for samsung S3 to be launched this coming june, hope can compete this HTC one x, p/s: HTC please study on your batteries capability..:p cheers!!!
Picture capture from One X seems better than iphone4s. This is awesome phone atleast in this direction.
Excellent handset. No issues thus far. Here's a quick over view I uploaded on YouTube
Global variant of the set now available in Asia region
hahaha low rating but the comments of those who already have this one x seems near perfect to them. oh well. typical fanboys downvoting the one x. LOSERS!
So I bit the bullet and bought one yesterday. I love tech and I love phones so I had to do it. Initial report, beautiful build quality, really. Screen is lush. Camera seems good. The only thing so far I don't like is the way android apps don't look as nice as iOS apps (4S). Specifically, I'm a big NBA head and have the NBA.tv app. On the 4S it looks nice. But on ONE X it is heaps bigger. It just looks more like a fake copy. Also, because the res is so good, a lot of apps have a big bar down the bottom as they can't fill the screen (res is too good). Phone runs silky smooth. Also, I never thought android could quite match typing on the iPhone 4 series. (htc desire, sgs2) but the one x is beautiful to type on.
I'll be back to let you know battery life.I leave bluetooth, WiFi, and 3G on the whole time. I'll report back tonight with more.
I benchmarked it using smartbench 2012 and it scored 4500. More points above galaxy s2. If the battery remains reliable for some year I will only replace it with a phone not bei.g that bulky.
got mine a couple of days ago. it's fantastic in every aspect but the size. it qiit difficult to handle it with obe hand.
