Ravi , 30 Jun 2016Hi, I am confused between ONE X 9, E9+ and One M9+. Can someone help me which one to buy? Than... moreDon't buy the E9+ got it and didn't last with me for 1 month then the motherboard has changed 2 times and still the phone is not working. they stopped producing it.
Don't buy htc. After sales service is poor even wen the phone is in warranty. It's no better than cheap Chinese phones. Even my 2 year old lenovo vibe z2 pro is running well. N this one x9 has started giving problems in just one month of use.

Hey, i'm an owner of the X9 and i can tell you that it charges very very fast when the phone is on the extreme power saver mode.
This phone supports OTG? If yes can anyone advice me how to use it?
Is This mobile Indian addition support 700 Mhz band for LTE because 700 Mhz Auction will be plan in Dec.
Friends kindly suggest me better phone among htc one X9 , htc one A9 and One plus 3 ..
Purchased HTC One X9 today. So far so good. But the front facing camera is awful. At night, even in bright CFL n LED bulbs on in the room, the phone takes unbelievably poor pics. Can't imagine HTC can provide such a poor front facing camera.Even cheap 3-4 K phones can take better selfies.Totally disappointed with the front can. It's just pathetic.
I was totally amazed with the phone till yesterday when it started giving me problems.
I just loved the build quality, the display, sound, battery, camera, smooth os & everything else about the phone was just perfect.
Just 2 weeks after the use, the network started dropping. I initially thot it was some sim related issue. I used to switch 4g from one sim & other depending on my data pack. Then yesterday both sim networks were gone. It can search for available networks but cannot register to any available networks. The sim was working fine with all other phones I have. Tries other sim cards. Can't detect any network. I reset network settings. No use. Formatted the phone . Again no use. Tried changing preferred networks. Nothing helped. Took phone to service center. They are saying they replace phone only within 2 weeks & only hardware issue. To detect if it is hardware issue they will take 7-10 days. N since pho e is 2 days older than the 2 weeks deadline so no replacement possible. Also they told tht the phone is new so parts may not be available so again another 2-3 weeks for tht. :-( now I'm left with no option but to wait. To my surprise the service centre guy did not even know tht the 2 sim card slots are on either side of the phone . He opens one side n tells me.the sim.tray is missing & I had to tell him the the other port is for memory card . Thts pathetic. Did not expect this from such a brand. Totally disappointed.
I want to buy mobile can't choose between HTC X9 & iPhone 5s. I use mobiles for calling, Facebook for 15 minutes, what's app, listening music is my hobby, I take pics functionally.Which would be good mobile for me as per my needs.Which camera is better.Pl suggest me. Regards
Ravi, 01 Aug 2016Is HTC X9 support VoLTE featureNo - that is the only let down else it is a good device, i am using it. It does not support VoLTE in Hardware as Mediatek Helios X10 is not supporting it.
I had given a harsh review on gsmarena the day i bought it - but now after using it for few days some detailed comments.
Pros after using it for 4 days :-
a. Great premium metal build and finish
b. FHD screen with very good color rendering even better with few AMOLEDs out there.
c. Immersive audio with Dolby DTS stereo
d. Battery - This device is on Marshmallow with Doze feature and that works well with HTC Boost+ apps installed. When i installed Boost+ and configured it in automatic mode, the battery consumption rate was similar to I have experienced on my iOS i-phone 5c - battery level drops very slow.
e. HTC Software + marshmallow combination gives a Apple iOS kind of premium fee while using it. HTC Mail app is very good. All apps run smooth without any glitches or lag. Also liked a feature which puts up pattern lock on Apps i chose and secure same further.
f. Does not heat up at all. Most of the Octacore devices have complaints around same.
g. Very Good Camera.
Cons is basically stuff not available at this price point.
1. VoLTE support is not there natively in Hardware. HTC sales guys will tell you it supports VoLTE by installing software APP of service provider but SW based VoLTE will drain battery faster. Anyhow mass adoption of VoLTE is still 1.5 years away in India. HTC sales team should be clear on VoLTE support in device - and do not think customer's are stupid.
2. USB Type-C port for charging
At the end of day i think i paid $100 (INR 6,500) extra for this device.
sam, 30 Jul 2016Gys I'm confused .....wht should I do....it is good or not?yes, htc X9 is so great and awesome.
the screen is great and very nice with FHD display and real 5.5" that has no any button and you will have real 5.5" display.
the sound quality is great and dual front speaker dedicates you nice sound experience.
both camera are very good and main camera with OIS helps you take perfect and clear pictures.also main camera can record video in 4K that is unique in midranges and the big difference between X9 and other rivals camera.
the good and strong chipset and lots of RAM(3G) helps you run every games and apps very smooth and with no worry.
and at the end have to tell you that the body quality is great and it looks nice.the metal body and very soft in hand.the body seats in your hands and really enjoyable.
if you want it go for it with no doubt.
This is a nice phone. In the price range it is the best device, when u carry it , it feels like a premium phone with htc branding, not some cheap brand like lava, xiomi, keep, going etc. Go for it. It's value for money.
I bought this phone for Spice hotspot spot yesterday for INR 25,990 (USD 390) yesterday (and want to sell it today). Key points :-
- The Hardware specs of the phone are exactly same as LE1S Eco which sells at INR 11,999 ~ USD 184
- HTC One X9 is based on Mediatek Helio X10 processor and hence does not support VoLTE in Hardware - real shock at this price, even phones in USD 200 range being launched from past 5-6 months support VoLTE in Hardware.
- Battery performance is also mediocre - will hardly last a day with normal Voice, Email Usage.
