How do you like your phone. I was told by the phone dealer, that this model is a failure. I did not understand what he meant by failure. Do you see any reason why this could be the case.

You have to conect your gps software with gps receiver. I have igo8 gps software,it has option to activate gps receiver and establish conection beetween receiver and software. Receiver has ports,too and diferrent softwares use diferrent ports,but software finds ports.When you make conection gps will start to work.

this is a very good piece. I had a lot of pdas and smarts,this is one of the best. exept wifi.
Im from europe n I use iGo8 gps softwer n it work great.

Anbody know a GPS software that will tell me my position coordinates, my direction of movement and my speed ,usable on this phone?

It is a good model and more over it does not have wifi and Gps when compare to touch it does not have extra features and price is also high

HTC luver Wule, 26 Aug 2008u must download the maps 4 ur device,i downloaded from rapid share and i put them on my p3470 ... morepls share with us the link where we can download or buy maps for this phone. my one came with UK map and i am in middle east. the tomtom program show on status no valid GPS signal. means i need a map first and then i will get the signal?

I can't make the GPS work with the softwareGood people,especially those using any HTC-touch screen range,I need you advice here.Someone warned me about touch-screen devices.He said touch-screen is very sensitive & easily damaged and so can get infected just as easy,even in your pocket.Being 'touch-screen' means 'undressed',meaning the device is thus exposed to viruses & all sorts of infections..I want to buy HTC P3470. Whats your advice, good people. I'm Siya
