Anonymous, 16 Oct 2009Dose anyone know how this phones processer compares the omnia 1? My friend, the HTC Pure has the same processor as every other HTC phone released since 2008. The Omnia's Marvell processor will slaughter the Pure's Qualcomm processor any day of the week.

However, don't take this to mean the Pure is slow. If you ever get the chance to try it out at an AT&T store, you'll find that it is pretty fast and smooth. I get the feeling that the speed increase came from the Pure having WinMo 6.5, however, as I've never seen one of HTC's phone with WinMo 6.1 being this quick.

Ultimately, the Omnia is a great phone, but I would probably get the Pure over it.....or if I really needed an Omnia, I would get the Omnia II.

It does not have 2100 UMTS... read the specification from htc USA, so you can't use it for any 3g network

oliver, 09 Oct 2009 someone can said me what is the differnce of 16M and 65K waht is the better ,please i can ... moreIn reply to "oliver", "16M" refers to 16,000,000 colors and "65k" refers to 65,000 colors. The more colors it can show, then the higher the picture quality.

Anonymous, 06 Oct 2009HTC devices with Android still only have 65k. Other Android devices have 16M. Why???because htc doesnt need to improve from 65k colors. all the OSes they use (winmo and android) currently only support 65k colors so for them it is pointless to make a more colorful display, especially if they hope that u will buy their next gen device rather than update when 16mil colors become available

this is att branded version of htc diamond 2. yes it looks different, but if u look at specs it is the same as diamond 2. and to the flash for camera comment. flash only makes better night photography if ur object is like 2 ft away LOL u obviously dont know anything about photography. and thats zenon flash too, most phones nowadays only have a weak led flash :/
