iKarlos, 12 Nov 2011Yes it's nice but it's 342ppi Vs iPhone's 325ppi so it's only 16ppi difference and it's not a ... morethe iPhone's ppi is only so high because of the small screen size, if say they increase the screen to 4.3 inches next summer and make it hd, the ppi will be exactly the same as in rezound..
though its a different matter when it comes to display quality in which i think the retina will get the upper hand..
Anonymous, 11 Nov 2011The Phone is the best of HTC so far but why is it CDMA only?!?!? Are they even gonna make a GS... morei was wondering that too... such a stupid idea to make it US only... if they do decide to make it for europa and the rest of the world, they could try with xenon flash, battery atleast 1800mAh but not bulky as that extended of 2750mAh... maybe even reduce the height of it, by the height of "Verizon" on it, lol...
If you are looking for the GSM version, it is the HTC Sensation XE (Extreme Edition)
Yes it's nice but it's 342ppi Vs iPhone's 325ppi so it's only 16ppi difference and it's not a huge difference since the iphone's retina display is going to go up again in the summer when the screen gets bigger and the screen will also be HD I'm guessing it's going to be more than 350ppi. iPhone 4 took it up a notch and there hasn't been any phone thar has more ppi density than the HTC Rezound well until the new iPhone HD is released in the summer or fall and once again the iPhone will be on top. I heard the new iPhone HD will be 10mp cam, 2MP front, same 1080p recording but w more features, HD display, higher ppi density, better battery, bigger display, HD FaceTime, all new design, LTE 4G and much more. Hahah to all other smartphones.
Hi everyone I review a lot of gadgets including mobiles mostly. As far as I have xperienced and reviewed lively each hi end device thats topping the chart from each of the brands in the market, only HTC stands for overall quality, performance and specs. When I consider main aspects like audio quality through headset(SRS) and loudspeaker, OS and UI, specs(hardware and apps), battery life, screen size, reliable product, signal quality, revalue, etc., HTC is the overall player to stand right there on top as eventhough SE has got most of the qualifying stuff, it loses on internal storage and the touch sensitivity as they are still on a resistive screen by usability, HTC is super sensitive in that department, SE sucks on loudspeaker quality on hi end phones, Samsung and LG are almost there but now with the disappointing unnatural audio quality and a promise of good battery life with a condition to keep the brightness at 2nd level(this is due to their Amoled screens' emergence which is the only way for them to stand in the market right now, wherein BB and iphone are stuck with their own OSs and way too high pricing with less competitive specs to stand especially the screensize and after-buy cost to buy their apps which is not the case with android and WP devices, Nokia with their dull faces(screen and design) does not smile proud to stand on the stage too. Acer has reported issues in their built software which is a problem with their devices often. HTC used to promise less on their reviews and specs but offered more in realtime usage. In recent days they advanced to satisfy consumers with their ballistic specs and genuine brand promise. HTC has it all but i suggest they concentrate on offering good handsets at the low price segment as well to get their consumer bracket really wide as there are still people in my Office who don't know the name HTC(not joking). But HTC!!! wonderful- you are quietly brilliant.

Aussiefan86, 07 Nov 2011Any news on Australian release dates, if at all???If it does come to Australia, it'll be under a different name. This model - the Rezound - won't come to Australia, as it has no GSM Radio - and hence won't work on any of our networks.
good stats and good phone. And ICS upgradeable looks like i found my new phone. good thing i have the best buy buy back.....oohhh yeeeaaah feels really good.
Anonymous, 06 Nov 2011actually many reviewer pointed out Beat audio on HTC phones is just another useless gimmick. Can't agree more. It's just another function to get the hipsters talking.
HD 720 resolution? this must be the 1st HD-Res phone on the market.Seriously not 540 x 960? really HD on a 4.3"?
Why not incorporate both CDMA and GSM just like Iphone 4s and Moto Razr? Why also not Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and still the outdated Gingerbread? I expected the latest coz this is the latest!
