Hi guys, have just got this phone some days back, m quite content with the phone as of now, lookswise its one of the best but the features I cannot comment as yet. I would like to ask the users of this phone a couple of things
1)Do you know of any free downloadable software through which I can run yahoo messenger and gtalk?
2)Secondly how do I download a particular software on the phone because when I tried doing it directly from the phone, it said the file could not open in the device
Lastly i ould like to know if i can select multiple items at a time, like multple smses, etc. Plz lemme know how.
I wud be greatly obliged if any one of you can mail me on email@example.com
For all HTC S710 users

i am using this phone for the last 2 months and sucessfully downloaded some games and softwares.one of the best phone in windows mobile category, battery life is very good. i have installed msconcise oxford dictionary in my mobile and it works fine( not the trial version).i will be posting a detailed review about this phone in near future.i purchased for Rs 13000/- from subhiksha mobile in chennai.
some of the good sites links where you can download all the applications, utility, games etc absolutely free (some are shareware)are given below
I briefly got to try out one of these today, must say switching between potrait and landscape (when sliding keyboard out or in)the UI takes time,a bit laggy, my mate says its the phone he has had, guess the 200mhz CPU aint doing the S710 much justice, its a beautiful device though
i have been using it for four months now it is agreat phone, more especially if u running a business u can receive your email anywhere becauseof the push technology feature, i love it
With my laptop, I use a UMTS/HSDPA card to access the internet on the go here in Germany. Because I have a webcam built-in I am able to video chat via Windows Live, AIM, or iChat. Since the technology is obviously there, I want this feature in a mobile phone. There are tons of mobiles on the market with tint VGA cameras on the front and UMTS/HSDPA radios built in. My question is, does anyone know for a fact what phone or OS (symbian/WM6/etc) will allow or has an available client so that I can video chat using mobile msn or mobile yahoo with my high speed data plan and not have to turn on my computer each time?
i use this phone past 2 months, one of the best phone to every one , perfect, perfomence, quality, price all the side exelent, you feel great when you use to do everything after some time practice, i recomend
use 2months.. best phone ewer had, stabile, can normal talk via skype (if wifi conection is good) vatch videos using avot, use opera mini- exelent speed, vatch videos at normal quality in TCPMP normal performance is 600kbps xvid or avi or another format (only mp4 not supported in this beta player, media player only) flash player isnt there, only for ppc, so there is only flash lite available. download registry editor, and edit there backlight, because after tcpmp instal it wont tur off . camera ok,lacks auto focus, video rec is bad (avi,mp4,3gp@176x144) wifi- good(range 100m), in auto power mode using skype in stand by mode it can handle 14h or more, surfing in net when lcd on +-4h, but in best performance mode it eat battery in 3h ewen when lcd is off. so use auto mode! support wpa, wep shared key... for copy/paste use VITO COPY PASTE app. RAM- total is 60mB, after boot is available 26mB. storage- 50mb of 128, i use microsd 2gb with no problems. with slide keyboard is no problems, it is good fixed, wery usefull. cpu speed is ok, in active use it sometimes drags. phone crashes once a week (it happens when i use some intensive aps)
so i sugest this phone for eweryone, good battery, call quality and edge !
